<p><span><span><b>EXECUTIVE SUMMARY</b> </span></span></p><ul><li><p><span>We are seeking a visionary leader passionate about transforming the management of people at risk of developing, or living with, Type 1 Diabetes (T1D). </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span>As MCO Head of Autoimmune T1D, you will lead the dual launch of Early Detection and <span>Tzield</span>, a first-in-class disease-modifying therapy, helping establish a new standard of care by enabling earlier identification and intervention in T1D. </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span>You will be responsible for developing and executing the end-to-end commercial strategy for the T1D franchise across the MCO, with full P&L accountability, supporting growth from <span>€1.6M at launch to ~€50M by 2035.</span> </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span>The role leads the commercial organisation (marketing and <span>sales</span>) and oversees the definition and execution of the launch strategy, working closely with the Launch Lead and partnering cross-functionally with Medical, Market Access and Corporate Affairs to activate screening ecosystems and drive Tzield adoption. </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span>Reporting to the MCO General Manager and serving as a member of the MCO/Country Leadership Team, this role is central to delivering Sanofi’s ambition to transform T1D management through early detection and disease-modifying therapy. </span><br /> </p></li></ul><p><span><span><b>ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES</b> </span></span></p><p><span><span>The MCO Head of Autoimmune T1D holds end-to-end accountability for the development, launch and long-term growth of the T1D franchise across the MCO, with full responsibility for delivering the dual launch of Early Detection and Tzield. </span></span></p><p><span><span> </span></span></p><p><span><span><b>Dual Launch Leadership</b> </span></span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Lead the end-to-end dual launch of Early Detection and Tzield, coordinating cross-functional teams across Commercial, Medical, Market Access, Regulatory and Corporate Affairs. </span></span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Establish the screening and referral ecosystem required to identify individuals at risk of T1D and enable timely intervention with Tzield. </span></span></p></li></ul><p><span><span><b>Market Shaping & Ecosystem Development</b> </span></span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Drive disease awareness and screening adoption among healthcare professionals, policy makers, and the broader T1D community. </span></span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Build strong partnerships with Centres of Excellence, KOLs, scientific societies, PAGs, and government stakeholders to accelerate screening and treatment pathways. </span></span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Monitoring and staying ahead of market trends and developments to drive improvements in business outcomes and customer experience </span></span></p></li></ul><p><span><span><b>Commercial Strategy & Launch Execution</b> </span></span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Develop and execute the local franchise strategy and Integrated Growth Plan, adapting global brand strategy to the local context. </span></span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Lead pre-launch and launch readiness activities to ensure successful pricing, reimbursement, and market access. </span></span></p></li></ul><p><span><span><b>Franchise Performance & Business Planning</b> </span></span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Hold full P&L responsibility for the T1D franchise </span></span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Lead business case development, forecasting, and financial planning in collaboration with global franchise teams. </span></span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Tracking key performance indicators and OKRs including marketing and sales performance, identification of at-risk patients, and customer/patient experience along the care pathway. </span></span></p></li></ul><p><span><span><b>Team Leadership</b> </span></span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Build and lead a high-performing organisation to support launch and long-term franchise growth. </span></span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Coach and develop talent while fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture. </span></span></p></li></ul><p><span><span><b>Customer Engagement & Innovation</b> </span></span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Deliver best-in-class stakeholder engagement, leveraging omnichannel approaches, digital tools and AI to enhance customer experience and impact. </span></span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span><span>Continuously refine strategy based on market insights and ecosystem evolution. </span></span></p></li></ul><p><span><span><b>Compliance</b> </span></span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Ensure all activities are conducted in full alignment with Sanofi ethics, compliance, and corporate policies. </span></span></p></li></ul><p><span><span> </span></span></p><p><span><span><b>MAIN REQUIREMENTS </b> </span></span></p><p><span>The MCO Head of Autoimmune T1D requires strong cross-functional leadership across global and MCO levels, with the ability to align diverse functions, Commercial, Medical, Market Access, Regulatory, PV, Supply, Trade, GTMC and Corporate Affairs, around a unified strategy and ensure disciplined execution of the dual launch of Early Detection and Tzield. </span></p><p><span> </span></p><p><span><b>Technical Skills</b> responsibility </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span>Strong track record in brand strategy, launch planning, and innovative marketing campaigns, ideally in specialty care or complex therapeutic areas </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span>Demonstrated experience working in matrix environments </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span>Solid understanding of Market Access, healthcare systems, and financial planning, with the ability to integrate these into commercial strategy </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span>Experience contributing to Global Brand planning processes and successfully translating global strategy into effective local execution </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span>Experience with digital engagement, omnichannel customer strategies, and evolving Go-to-Market models
