The position is intended </span><span>to be a full-time summer opportunity for a medically-focused (i.e., seeking a degree in biological sciences) </span><span>undergraduate to obtain hands-on experience in medical affairs.</span><br /> </p><p><b><span>Essential Duties</span></b></p><ul><li><p><span>Collaborate with medical affairs on various initiatives including publications, advisory boards, medical </span><span>education opportunities, training, and speaker development.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Support the medical community, as needed, with up-to-date medical information and product information.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Generate a key opinion leader (KOL) engagement strategy for MCED that maps, identifies, profiles and </span><span>prioritizes thought leaders and establish key performance indicators/metrics.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Communicate clinical insights on new data to the MCED Medical Affairs team to inform a key opinion </span><span>leader engagement strategy.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Identify potential KOLs and related external activities that would be valuable to the MCED program.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Regular and reliable attendance.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><u><span>Scheduling requirements:</span></u></p><ul><li><p><span>Ability to work designated schedule.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><u><span>Physical requirements:</span></u></p><ul><li><p><span>Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform </span><span>typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ability to grasp with both hands; pinch with thumb and forefinger; turn with hand/arm; </span><span>reach above shoulder height.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ability to work on a computer and phone simultaneously.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ability to use a telephone through a headset.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ability to comply with any applicable personal protective equipment requirements.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Minimum Qualifications</span></b></p><ul><li><p><span>Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in biology, chemistry, pharmacy, or other medical-related </span><span>discipline.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong communication skills.</span></p></li></ul></div></div></div><div></div></div></div></div><div></div><div></div>#LI-KL1<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p>Salary Range:</p>$35,000.00 - $56,000.00<p style="text-align:inherit"><i> </i></p>The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis.<p style="text-align:inherit"><i> </i></p><p>Exact Sciences is proud to offer an employee experience that includes paid time off (including days for vacation, holidays, volunteering, and personal time), paid leave for parents and caregivers, a retirement savings plan, wellness support, and health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage.
