Our Groningen site specializes in cutting-edge research and production, contributing to Thermo Fisher Scientific&#39;s global impact.</p><p></p><p><b>DESCRIPTION:</b></p><p>How Will You Make an Impact?: As a Formulation Technician II, you will play a crucial role in our buffer and media preparation processes, ensuring the highest quality standards for our products. Your expertise will directly contribute to the development and production of essential materials used in life sciences research and biopharmaceutical manufacturing.</p><p></p><p><b>A Day in the Life:</b></p><ul><li>Prepare and formulate buffers and media solutions with precision and accuracy</li><li>Operate and maintain specialized equipment used in buffer and media preparation</li><li>Follow and maintain cGMP standards and documentation practices</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to buffer and media preparation</li></ul><p></p><p><b>REQUIREMENTS:</b></p><p><b>Education: </b></p><p>Secondary Education, Advanced Certificate, or equivalent. A degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field is preferred.</p><p><b>Experience</b>:</p><p>Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment, specifically in buffer and media preparation</p><p><b>Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:</b></p><ul><li>Strong understanding of buffer and media formulation principles</li><li>Proficiency in aseptic techniques and clean room practices</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow complex protocols</li><li>Strong problem- solving skills and ability to work independently</li><li>Good communication and teamwork skills</li></ul><p></p><p>Physical Requirements / Work Environment: The work environment involves standing for extended periods, lifting up to 20 kg, and working with various chemicals.
