This role ensures the company can meet customer, regulatory, and internal requirements for material declarations, trade certifications, and sustainability disclosures.</p><p></p><p>The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in maintaining supplier compliance and documentation readiness. This position serves as the central contact for all material and trade compliance requests within the organization.</p><p></p><p><b><u>Key Responsibilities</u></b><b>:</b></p><p></p><p><b>Material Compliance</b></p><ul><li>Manage and respond to all customer material compliance requests and declarations.</li><li>Maintain and update documentation for all regulated substances and reporting requirements.</li><li>Proactively survey and follow up with suppliers to collect and verify compliance data.</li><li>Prepare and manage reports and declarations for material declaration templates</li><li>Track regulatory changes and coordinate updates across the organization.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Trade Compliance</b></p><ul><li>Complete and maintain trade-related documentation, including:<ul><li>USMCA and other free trade certifications, COO statements, and steel derivative breakdowns</li><li>Work with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate trade data and compliance with import/export regulations.</li><li>Support HTS identification requests on import / exports</li></ul></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Sustainability &amp; Supply Chain Transparency</b></p><ul><li>Support customer requests for sustainability and carbon footprint data for supply chain.</li><li>Gather and maintain supplier sustainability information as part of ESG and transparency initiatives.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Cross-Functional Support</b></p><ul><li>Collaborate with purchasing, quality, and sales teams to ensure accurate and timely responses to compliance requests.</li><li>Develop and maintain organized systems for tracking and reporting compliance data.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Education/Experience Preferred</b></p><ul><li>3–5 years of experience in trade or material compliance, ideally in manufacturing or metals.</li><li>Working knowledge of<ul><li>Trade regulations:  USMCA, free trade agreements, HTS Classifications, etc.</li><li>Material regulations:  REACH, RoHS, Prop 65, TSCA, Conflict minerals, PFAs, CBAM, etc.</li></ul></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p>We offer a comprehensive benefits package that may include medical, dental, vision, RSP matching, and more!</p><p></p><p><span><span>Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, <span>candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes</span> as permitted or required by applicable law</span></span>.</p><p></p><p>Salary Range:                 $70K - $90K</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><span>Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, <span>candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes</span> as permitted or required by applicable law</span><span>.</span></p>
