If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2></h2><h2>Job Summary</h2><p>To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a <b>Materials Lead</b> located in <b>Pflugerville, TX. </b></p><p></p><p>Reporting to the <b>Warehouse Manager,</b> the <b>Materials Lead</b> is responsible for leading the work of others and participates in work related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and delivering a variety of materials, equipment and supplies. Works with independence in carrying out duties with limited supervision.</p><p></p><p><b>2nd Shift: 3:00pm-11:15pm (Monday-Friday, 10% Shift Differential) </b></p><p></p><p><b>What a typical day looks like:</b></p><ul><li>Coordinates the activities of subordinates.</li><li>Reviews difficult or complex work procedures to resolve questions presented by workers.</li><li>Ensures accurate, up-to-date records of inventory in stockroom and daily operations; completes necessary forms or paperwork for documentation.</li><li>Designs stockroom layout and oversees rearranging process.</li><li>Oversees and participates in counting, weighing and measuring incoming or outgoing items to compare identifying information and verify against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records.</li><li>Examines incoming shipments for damage or shortages and corresponds with shipper to rectify; fills out appropriate forms or documents.</li><li>Fills orders and issues materials and supplies per requests; documents transactions, prepares requisitions and computes costs; keeps records of storeroom inventory.</li><li>Oversees and participates in ordering or purchasing a variety of stock items such as recommending changes to standard items or stock levels and ordering items using independent judgment within established limits.</li><li>Determines method of shipment based on knowledge of shipping procedures, routes and rates; packages, weighs and marks container for shipment; prepares necessary forms such as bills of lading.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>The experience we’re looking to add to our team:</b></p><ul><li>Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of material experience</li><li>Use of the following tools may be required: Office Skills: typing, telephones, office software to include, word processing, spreadsheets, presentation package and database systems.  Warehouse skills:  forklift, electronic scales, pallet jack, measuring tools, and alignment tools.</li><li>Required good clerical and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and customers.</li><li>Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.</li><li>Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.</li><li>Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.</li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>What you&#39;ll receive for the great work you provide:</b></p><ul><li>Full range of medical, dental, and vision plans</li><li>Life Insurance</li><li>Short-term and Long-term Disability</li><li>Matching 401(k) Contributions</li><li>Vacation and Paid Sick Time</li><li>Tuition Reimbursement</li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2></h2><h2>Job Category</h2>Global Procurement &amp; Supply Chain<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2></h2><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left">Is Sponsorship Available?</p>No<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>Flex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
