Description
The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for performing a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. The role constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems, working from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. This is a short-term, temporary position with an expected duration of approximately three months, possibly longer. Duties & Responsibilities include building, testing, and integrating subassemblies, performing calibration checks, constructing Field Replaceable Units (FRUs), and maintaining compliance with local, national, international and company regulations for Health, Safety and Environmental compliance.
Requirements
High school diploma and on-the-job training or postsecondary certificate or associate's degree. Advanced problem-solving and debugging experience in mechanical and electrical assemblies. 5S and Lean Manufacturing experience. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Word. Good verbal and written communication skills. Experience with GMP requirements and medical industry requirements. Clear understanding of EHS requirements. Progressive technical certifications preferred.
