Description
We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technicians to join our manufacturing team in Natick, Massachusetts. This role focuses on the production of FDA-regulated medical devices, with a preference for candidates experienced in the handling and manufacturing of acellular tissue matrix products. As part of a team producing a product with over 20 years of commercial success, you will play a vital role in maintaining quality and compliance while contributing to improving patients' lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform production tasks following established procedures, work instructions, and quality standards.
- Handle and process biologically derived materials in compliance with FDA Good Manufacturing Procedures.
- Operate and maintain production equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Adhere to company standard operating procedures for the production of 510(k) and/or PMA medical devices.
- Document work accurately in manufacturing records to ensure traceability and compliance.
- Conduct visual and functional inspections during the production process to identify defects or deviations.
- Collaborate with the Quality team to ensure finished products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Quality Control and Engineering, to ensure smooth workflow and resolve production issues.
- Participate in team meetings and provide feedback to improve processes and efficiency.
- Assist in cleaning and maintaining production areas and equipment to ensure a safe and compliant work environment. Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly to the supervisor.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required. An associate's degree or technical training is a plus. Minimum 2 years experience in the production of FDA-regulated medical devices or drugs, preferably with exposure to working in clean room environments. Familiarity with biologically derived material handling is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain accurate documentation. Basic mechanical skills to operate and troubleshoot production equipment.
