We encourage you to step beyond your comfort zone, offering resources and flexibility to foster your professional and personal growth, all while valuing your unique contributions. </p><p></p><p><span style="color:#000000"><b>We are hiring Manufacturing Supplier Quality Leaders for 2 different remote regions: Malvern, PA (Northeast) and California (West Coast)</b></span></p><p></p><p><span style="color:#000000">As a Manufacturing Supplier Quality Leader (SQM) at Varian Medical Systems, a Siemens Healthineers company – you will:</span></p><ul><li><p><span style="color:#000000">Ensure and improve the supplier quality outcomes in the medical capital equipment arena.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#000000">Support the implementation of SQM requirements regarding preventive actions, technical specifications and qualification of suppliers.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#000000">Act as SQM contact in cross-functional teams.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#000000">Be a critical point of contact actively engaged in developing and implementing strategies to ensure Medical Device suppliers manufacturing operations meet aggressive quality, regulatory, and performance standards.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><span style="color:#000000">We are actively evolving our Supplier Quality program to be aligned with industry leading PPAP/APQP standards that drive quality at the source and foster a collaborative partnership between OEM and suppliers where suppliers share in the accountability and ownership of manufactured quality deliverables. This role requires strong leadership and relationship building skills, excellent communication, advanced problem-solving skills, and proven collaboration with cross-functional teams like procurement and operations.</span></p><p><span style="color:#000000">As such your primary tasks will be:</span></p><ul><li><p><span style="color:#000000">Leading Risk based supplier audits ensuring ISO13485 compliance and quality driven outcomes</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#000000">Implementing Lean Manufacturing, PPAP, SPC, and Six Sigma standards enhancing suppliers capabilities</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#000000">Negotiating strong quality agreements with quality at the source deliverables</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#000000">Managing, addressing, and mitigating internal CAPA and external supplier corrective and preventive actions (SCAR)</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#000000">Driving ongoing continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers and internal teams</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><span style="color:#000000"><b><u>What You will Do:</u></b></span></p><p><span style="color:#000000"><b>Global Strategic Supplier Quality Management</b></span></p><ul><li><p><span style="color:#000000">Drive global supplier quality relationship management and development, ensuring alignment with company objectives and standards.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#000000">Collaborate with SQEs across sites to ensure consistent communication, feedback and improvement on supplier performance</span></p></li></ul><p><span style="color:#000000"><b>Foster Global Supplier Partnership and Quality Improvement</b></span></p><ul><li><p><span style="color:#000000">Build long-term supplier partnerships, drive continuous improvement on critical quality issues, and implement proactive quality measures.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#000000">Use tools such as Power BI tools to establish real-time performance baselines and develop ongoing improvement activities with suppliers.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#000000">Experience with implementing industry standard tools that improve supplier quality performance, such as PPAP/SPC, and other quality management tools with suppliers</span></p></li></ul><p><span style="color:#000000"><b>Support Global Supplier selection onboarding and performance</b></span></p><ul><li><p><span style="color:#000000">Supplier development and compliance to quality standards.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#000000">Supplier performance monitoring, auditing, and improvement.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#000000">Support with supplier evaluation activities in collaboration with cross-functional teams.</span></p></li></ul><p><span style="color:#000000"><b>Enhance Cross-Functional Collaboration</b></span></p><ul><li><p><span style="color:#000000">Strengthen partnerships with Strategic Procurement, site SQEs, customer support, and engineering team members to effectively resolve supplier-related issues.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#000000">Organize regular meetings with Site SQEs to gain a comprehensive, global understanding of supplier performance.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#000000">Develop close working relationships with Strategic Procurement, relevant Commodity Managers, and site SQEs to improve collaboration.</span></p></li></ul><p><span style="color:#000000"><b>Additional Responsibilities:</b></span></p><ul><li><p><span style="color:#000000">Effectively Resolve Supplier Issues</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#000000">Communicate and management of escalated or emerging Issues</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#000000">Monitor supplier data and KPI’s</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#000000">Reduce Warranty and Non-conformance costs</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#000000">Support and Drive Assigned QatS Deliverables</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><span style="color:#000000"><b><u>What You will Have:</u></b></span></p><ul><li><p><span style="color:#000000">Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Biomedical, fields OR equivalent experience.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#000000">10&#43; years of technical leadership experience in supply chain, <span style="font-size:14px">engineering, design engineering, </span>and/or Supplier Quality Engineering.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#000000">Must have ISO Certified Lead Auditor experience</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#000000">Experience in healthcare and medical technology sector and strong understanding of ISO13485 and ISO9001</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#000000">Experience driving improvements in a PPAP/APQP environment where suppliers share in the quality data and monitoring techniques</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:14px">Ability to lead projects consisting of cross-functional teams, and manage complex problem solving projects with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:14px">Proficient in understanding engineering requirements and design solutions in a regulated industry.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:14px">Experience with lean manufacturing, statistical process control, Six Sigma, and design for manufacturability practices.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:14px">Strong track record of problem solving and driving process improvements</span></span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#000000">Passion for Travel and Onsite Supplier Engagement - this role will require travel to supplier locations both domestically and internationally, up to 30%, potentially on short notice.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#000000">Proven strong communicator with internal and external partners</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#000000">Familiarity with eQMS including: quality management systems, quality management software and ERP systems (SAP preferred)</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><span style="color:#000000"><b><u>What will set You apart:</u></b></span></p><p></p><ul><li><p><span style="color:#000000">One or more of the following certifications: Certified Quality Engineer, Six Sigma Black Belt</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><span style="color:#000000">#LI-Remote</span></p><p></p><p></p><p><span style="color:#000000">The annual base pay for this position is:</span></p><p></p><p><span style="color:#000000">Min $114,400 - Max $171,600</span></p><p></p><p><span style="color:#000000">Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.</span></p><p></p><p><span style="color:#000000">If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company&#39;s plan.
