Ihre Aufgaben:

• Durchführung von Herstellungsaktivitäten gemäß cGMP-Richtlinien im Bereich der Puffer- und Medienvorbereitung für die Herstellung mit Säugetierzellen, einschließlich Bedienung von Kleinteilewaschanlagen und Autoklaven. Sicherstellung der Batch-Ausführung, Auswertung von Testergebnissen, Problemlösung, Fehlerbehebung an Produktionsanlagen und Empfehlung von Lösungen.
• Unterstützung bei der Erstellung von SHE- (Sicherheit, Gesundheit, Umwelt), EM- (Umweltmonitoring), Betriebs- und Reinigungsrisikobewertungen für die zugewiesenen Produkte sowie Umsetzung und Kontrolle definierter Maßnahmen.
• Mitwirkung bei der Dokumentenerstellung (z. B. elektronische Chargenprotokolle, SOPs) für den zugewiesenen Produktionsbereich.
• Überprüfung der Produktionsdokumentation sowie Bearbeitung von Abweichungen, Änderungsanträgen und Umsetzung von CAPAs zur Sicherstellung hoher GMP-Standards.
• Mitarbeit an Investitionsprojekten für den Bau und die Inbetriebnahme neuer Produktionsanlagen als Produktionsexperte. Verantwortung für die Bereitstellung aller erforderlichen Inputs für die Einrichtung, Inbetriebnahme und Qualifizierung der Produktionsbereiche und -anlagen.
• Verantwortung für die Schulung des Produktionspersonals zu spezifischen Geräten oder Standardprozessen.

Ihr Anforderungsprofil:

• Abgeschlossene chemische oder biopharmazeutische Ausbildung oder entsprechende Qualifikation; Bachelor-/Master-Abschluss oder gleichwertige Erfahrung in Biotechnologie, Biologie, Bioverfahrenstechnik oder verwandten Bereichen von Vorteil.
• Fundierte Kenntnisse biotechnologischer Prozesse im Bereich der Herstellung mit Säugetierzellen.
• Ausgeprägte Kommunikationsfähigkeiten, Teamplayer, motiviert und lösungsorientiert.
• Deutsch erforderlich, Englisch von Vorteil.
• Gute GMP-Kenntnisse erforderlich.
• Tagesarbeit mit Bereitschaft zur Arbeit außerhalb der regulären Arbeitszeiten (einschließlich Wochenenden)

Due to the growth at our site in Visp, we are currently looking for several Manufacturing Specialists for our Ibex-facility. In this role, you will be responsible for performing operational activities of assigned manufacturing projects in specific areas (Up-stream or Down-stream processing).

What you will do:

• Perform production activities in the field of mammalian manufacturing (upstream and downstream processing) in accordance with cGMP guidelines, commissioning/qualification of the plant and small equipment, batch execution, troubleshooting, and recommending solutions.

• Organizational and operational support for production campaigns in the area of single-use equipment operation (wave reactors, single-use bioreactors and mixers in buffer/media prep, etc.), open handling (inoculation under the biosafety cabinet (BSC), end fill), calibration/operation/troubleshooting of small equipment/IPC analyzers, support in material management.

• Engage in Capital investment projects for building and commissioning of new manufacturing units as manufacturing expert. Responsible for delivering all input required for the specific set-up, commissioning and qualification of the manufacturing suites and equipment.

• Review production documentation and work on deviations, change requests and implementation of CAPAs to ensure high-quality GMP standards.

• Support the preparation of SHE (Safety, Health, environment), EM (Environmental Monitoring), operation and cleaning risk assessment for the assigned products and the implementation and control of defined measures.

• Support in training of production personnel with regard to specific equipment and standard procedures.

What we are looking for:

• Completed chemical / biopharmaceutical education or corresponding training qualification, Bachelor / Master's degree or equivalent experience in Biotechnology, Biology, Biochemical Engineering or related fields is an advantage.

• Sound knowledge of biotechnological processes in the area of mammalian manufacturing.

• Strong communication skills, collaborative phenomenal teammate, motivated and passionate about finding solutions.

• German required, English is considered a plus.

• Good GMP understanding required.

• Day work with willingness to work outside office hours (including weekends)
