Responsible for ensuring that all these are reviewed, understood, and approved.</p></li><li><p>Use IE tools to find the opportunities to increase the line efficiency and improve line speed balance.</p></li><li><p>Lead the manufacturing process change with product/process change until physical completion.</p></li><li><p>Manage the new machine or fixture, or modifications with the supplier from the statement of work, machine functional specification, concept design, functional/safety design approval, acceptance test before shipment, Installation, acceptance test after installation.</p></li><li><p>Train operator for any newly released product and process, and assess the training effect until qualified.</p></li><li><p>Hands-on manner to set and optimize the machine parameters and recipes.</p></li><li><p>Daily managing production line issues related to equipment and process, and providing solutions.</p></li><li><p>Develop and maintain the product bill of materials (BOM).</p></li><li><p>Support the maintenance team to create/update the machine daily check and regular maintenance plan.</p></li><li><p>Lead validation sample build according to the project plan. And lead the sample review and report before shipping out for performance testing.</p></li><li><p>Leverage global resources and cross-functional resources for product launch, quality issues, and troubleshooting.</p></li><li><p>Drive Cost reduction initiatives, including manufacturing scrap reduction, productivity improvement, and VAVE. Work with the product engineering team to hit the plant's monthly/yearly targets.</p></li><li><p>Follow the APQP process and lead an internal cross-functional team to ensure a safe, on-time launch of new products and product transfers.</p></li><li><p>Support the quality team to create/update a robust quality control process.</p></li><li><p>Support to analyze the source of production scrap and provide solutions.</p></li><li><p>Other responsibilities assigned by the Engineering manager.</p></li></ul><h1></h1><p></p><p><b>Key Qualifications & Requirements</b></p><p></p><p>Education Qualification:</p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering is required.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Technical Competence & Skills:</p><ul><li><p>Ability to use AutoCAD is required.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools is required.</p></li><li><p>A thorough understanding of quality tools such as PFMEAs, Control Plans, and Process Flow charts is required.</p></li><li><p>Ability to use IE tools, like error-proof, VSM, MTM is preferred.</p></li><li><p>Working knowledge of liquid filter or air filter manufacturing processes is preferred.</p></li><li><p>Lean manufacturing knowledge is preferred.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency with common project management tools (e.g., MS Project, or equivalent) is preferred.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Leadership Competence:</p><ul><li><p>Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills.</p></li><li><p>Good teamwork player.</p></li><li><p>Strong sense of responsibility and work with a closed-loop and PDCA approach.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Relevant Experience:</p><ul><li><p>Minimum 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience in a manufacturing environment is required.</p></li><li><p>Previous project management responsibility with demonstrated results is preferred.</p></li><li><p>IATF16949 work experience is desired.</p></li><li><p>Excellent manufacturing efficiency improvement achievements in past work experience are preferred.</p></li><li><p>Proficient in IE aspect analysis, action plan, and implementation.</p></li><li><p>Problem-solving skills are preferred.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Others (% of travel, language, etc.):</p><ul><li><p>Fluent in reading and writing English</p></li><li><p>Able to work under high pressure.</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><span><span>Employment opportunities for positions in the United States may require use of information which is subject to the export control regulations of the United States.
