Main Responsibilities:<ul><li>Develop and update working instructions to standardize the work and safe use of equipment.</li><li>Develop PPAP documents and dynamically maintain it, including PFMEA, CP, and PFC. Responsible for ensuring that all these are reviewed, understood, and approved.</li><li>Use IE tools to find the opportunities to increase the line efficiency and improve line speed balance.</li><li>Lead the manufacturing process change with product/process change until physical completion.</li><li>Manage the new machine or fixture, or modifications with the supplier from the statement of work, machine functional specification, concept design, functional/safety design approval, acceptance test before shipment, Installation, acceptance test after installation.</li><li>Train operator for any newly released product and process, and assess the training effect until qualified.</li><li>Hands-on manner to set and optimize the machine parameters and recipes.</li><li>Daily managing production line issues related to equipment and process, and providing solutions.</li><li>Develop and maintain the product bill of materials (BOM).</li><li>Support the maintenance team to create/update the machine daily check and regular maintenance plan.</li><li>Lead validation sample build according to the project plan. And lead the sample review and report before shipping out for performance testing.</li><li>Leverage global resources and cross-functional resources for product launch, quality issues, and troubleshooting.</li><li>Drive Cost reduction initiatives, including manufacturing scrap reduction, productivity improvement, and VAVE. Work with the product engineering team to hit the plant's monthly/yearly targets.</li><li>Follow the APQP process and lead an internal cross-functional team to ensure a safe, on-time launch of new products and product transfers.</li><li>Support the quality team to create/update a robust quality control process.</li><li>Support to analyze the source of production scrap and provide solutions.</li><li>Other responsibilities assigned by the Engineering manager.</li></ul><h1></h1>Key Qualifications & RequirementsEducation Qualification:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering is required.</li></ul>Technical Competence & Skills:<ul><li>Ability to use AutoCAD is required.</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools is required.</li><li>A thorough understanding of quality tools such as PFMEAs, Control Plans, and Process Flow charts is required.</li><li>Ability to use IE tools, like error-proof, VSM, MTM is preferred.</li><li>Working knowledge of liquid filter or air filter manufacturing processes is preferred.</li><li>Lean manufacturing knowledge is preferred.</li><li>Proficiency with common project management tools (e.g., MS Project, or equivalent) is preferred.</li></ul>Leadership Competence:<ul><li>Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills.</li><li>Good teamwork player.</li><li>Strong sense of responsibility and work with a closed-loop and PDCA approach.</li></ul>Relevant Experience:<ul><li>Minimum 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience in a manufacturing environment is required.</li><li>Previous project management responsibility with demonstrated results is preferred.</li><li>IATF16949 work experience is desired.</li><li>Excellent manufacturing efficiency improvement achievements in past work experience are preferred.</li><li>Proficient in IE aspect analysis, action plan, and implementation.</li><li>Problem-solving skills are preferred.</li></ul>Others (% of travel, language, etc.):<ul><li>Fluent in reading and writing English</li><li>Able to work under high pressure.</li></ul>Employment opportunities for positions in the United States may require use of information which is subject to the export control regulations of the United States.
