Manufacturing Engineer (Electronics & Electrical)

<h2><b>Job Description</b></h2><p>Electronics &amp; PCBA Failure Analysis</p><ul><li>Perform failure analysis on failed PCBAs and electronic, electromechanical components returned from production or test.</li><li>Troubleshoot electronics issues using schematics, test data, logs, and measurement tools.</li><li>Identify systematic vs random failures and recommend corrective actions to reduce scrap and rework.</li><li>Support containment, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for electronics-related issues.</li><li>Analyze electronics failure trends at instrument and sub-assembly level and propose improvement initiatives through data-driven analysis.</li><li>Work with Quality, Production, and R&amp;D to implement corrective and preventive actions.</li></ul><p></p><p>Test Engineering &amp; Software Support</p><ul><li>Support and improve electronics test systems (functional test, system test, diagnostics).</li><li>Develop or modify test software, scripts, or configurations to improve fault detection and debug capability.</li><li>Improve test coverage, test limits, and diagnostic effectiveness to reduce false failures and escapes.</li><li>Support test correlation and test robustness activities.</li></ul><p></p><p>Schematic Review &amp; Design Support</p><ul><li>Read, interpret, and review electrical schematics and wiring diagrams to support troubleshooting.</li><li>Provide feedback to R&amp;D on design weaknesses, test gaps, or field failure learnings.</li><li>Support basic schematic updates or test-point recommendations where applicable.</li></ul><p></p><p>Manufacturing &amp; Cross-Functional Support</p><ul><li>Provide hands-on electronics support on the production floor.</li><li>Work closely with Production, Quality, R&amp;D, and Supplier Engineering teams to resolve issues.</li><li>Support audits and documentation related to electronics manufacturing under ISO 9001 / ISO 13485 environments.</li></ul><p></p><h2></h2><h2><b>Qualifications</b></h2><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical &amp; Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent.</li><li>Minimum 2 years of experience supporting electronics in instrument, medical device, or precision equipment manufacturing.</li><li>Strong ability to analyze and troubleshoot PCBAs using schematics and test data.</li><li>Experience with electronics failure analysis and root cause methodologies.</li><li>Working knowledge of electronics test software development or scripting (e.g. LabVIEW, Python, C/C&#43;&#43;, or equivalent).</li><li>Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and system diagrams.</li><li>Familiarity with manufacturing documentation (WI, FA reports, corrective action records).</li><li>Knowledge of ISO 9001 / ISO 13485 is an advantage.</li><li>Data-driven mindset with practical experience in scrap, yield, and trend analysis.</li><li>Strong technical communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.</li><li>Hands-on, disciplined, and problem-solving oriented.</li></ul><p></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>Additional Details</b></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>This job has a full time weekly schedule.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
