The manufacturing engineer is responsible for improve of manufacturing process, defect analysis and improve, introduction and evaluation of production equipment.

This position reports to the group leader and is part of the manufacturing engineering group  located in Ami-machi, Inashiki-gun, Ibaraki-ken  and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Improve manufacturing process and productivity
• Analyze the root cause of defects and improve the production yield
• Install and evaluate production equipment
• Lead cross-functional projects

The essential requirements of the job include

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineer or similar job
• Skill for solving the problem with logical thinking
• Skill to communicate effectively both internal and external
• Ability to plan and execute tasks responsibly
• Fluent or above Japanese language skills

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role

• Possible to business trip as needed必要に応じて出張が可能
• Passible to commute everyday

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Communication skill with English
• Ability to design tools using CAD
• Knowledge of plastic materials
• Knowledge of chemicals
• Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system
