Every day, more than 1,000 colleagues from over 40 nationalities contribute to supply chain operations, manufacturing, marketing and sales of our medicines, and clinical research into new therapies.</p><p></p><p><b>Live</b></p><p><b>What you will do</b></p><p>The Maintenance department ensures the availability and reliability of our semi- and fully automated packaging, labeling, and assembly equipment within our production facility. By keeping our operations running smoothly, you help ensure medicines reach patients around the world.</p><p></p><p>As Maintenance Manager, you lead, mentor, and develop a team of Shift Leads and Maintenance Technicians (roughly 10 direct reports). In addition, you coordinate the work of external maintenance service providers. You combine strong leadership with solid technical insight and you thrive in a dynamic manufacturing environment. With your analytical mindset, you prioritize maintenance activities effectively and define and execute our maintenance strategy. By contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, you help enhance equipment reliability and operational performance.</p><p></p><p>Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role, you will:</p><ul><li>Lead, mentor and develop your team, enabling them to perform at their best and grow professionally.</li><li>Coach and support your team in applying analytical problem-solving methodologies to identify and structurally resolve root causes of equipment breakdowns and performance losses, driving sustainable improvements in production equipment performance.</li><li>Plan and schedule maintenance resources to ensure optimal support for production operations.</li><li>Drive equipment improvements to enhance availability, reliability and performance.</li><li>Manage and prioritize maintenance workload and collaborate closely with planning and scheduling teams.</li><li>Coordinate major maintenance activities with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure safe and effective execution.</li><li>Co-manage the maintenance budget and strategy together with the other Manager Maintenance and the Senior Manager Maintenance.</li><li>Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders (Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality) and external service providers.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Win</b></p><p><b>What we expect of you</b></p><p>The Manager Maintenance we seek is a people leader with technical knowhow and the following qualifications:</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in (Maintenance) Engineering or equivalent level obtained through experience.</li><li>7 – 10 years experience as a people manager in an industrial maintenance environment.</li><li>Proven experience setting and executing maintenance strategies for high value equipment.</li><li>Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.</li><li>Solid technical understanding of industrial equipment and maintenance processes.</li><li>Experience working in a highly regulated environment (e.g., GMP).</li><li>Analytical mindset and familiarity with Maintenance Management Systems such as Maximo.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Thrive</b></p><p><b>What you can expect of us</b></p><p>As we work to develop treatments that care for others, we also invest in the growth, well-being and development of our teammates.
