Upgrade to Pro — $25/moJoin Stryker as an HR Business Partner Manager, where you will serve as a strategic human resources partner to business leaders across two manufacturing locations in Puerto Rico. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leaders, support workforce and organizational decisions, and drive consistent HR practices in a complex, matrixed environment.
As an individual contributor, you will act as the primary HR partner for assigned business areas, providing guidance on talent, performance, organizational effectiveness, employee relations, compensation, and workforce planning. You will collaborate with leaders and HR Centers of Excellence to align business priorities with people strategies while supporting a strong values-based culture.
Partner with directors, managers, and supervisors to provide HR guidance on talent, performance management, compensation, organizational design, and employee relations.
Execute HR strategies and initiatives aligned with business objectives and workforce needs.
Coach and advise business leaders on organizational and people-related decisions.
Support talent management processes, including succession planning, critical role identification, performance reviews, and workforce planning.
Analyze HR metrics, workforce trends, and organizational data to support business decisions.
Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to deliver solutions in talent acquisition, compensation, learning, and employee experience.
Apply HR policies, procedures, and labor compliance requirements while mitigating organizational risk.
Facilitate employee relations matters and support resolution of workplace issues in partnership with business leaders.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of Human Resources experience.
Minimum 2 years of experience in an HR Business Partner role.
Experience advising senior leaders, managers, and directors on strategic HR matters.
Experience working in matrixed organizations with multiple stakeholders.
Fluent English with the ability to participate in meetings, presentations, and business discussions.
Experience supporting talent management, performance management, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
Knowledge of Puerto Rico labor laws.
Experience in manufacturing, medical devices, pharmaceutical, aviation, or similar regulated industries.
Project management, Lean, or Six Sigma training or certification.
Primarily on-site role with regular presence expected at manufacturing facilities.
Supports two locations in Puerto Rico: Humacao and Arroyo.
Regular travel between Humacao and Arroyo is required.
