We offer a dynamic workplace for employees to grow and develop their skills.</p><p>The Manager, Global Publication Planning supports the timely execution of scientific publication deliverables, including abstracts, posters, oral presentation, and manuscripts for assigned therapeutic areas according to strategy. </p><p>This position reports to the Head of Publication Planning and supports the activities of the Global Publication Planning and Medical Writing Teams using excellent project management skills.&nbsp; This position may offer the flexibility of remote work or a hybrid arrangement at one of our offices located in Princeton, New Jersey, or Palo Alto, California.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Support strategic publication planning activities, including participation in planning workshops and team meetings, preparation of meeting and workshop slides, and maintenance of publication plan documents</li><li>Assist with maintaining electronic records for publication compliance</li><li>Develop and maintain knowledge of Ascendis therapeutic areas</li><li>Manage journal and conference submissions</li><li>Provides copy-editing and QC of publications for accuracy, typos, and grammar, etc.</li><li>Maintain database records, contacts authors, and attends calls with external parties</li><li>Track internal and external deadlines for conference submissions</li><li>Track progress of content development for multiple projects</li><li>Maintain templates and process documents</li><li>Support the development and maintenance of core publications guidance documents and templates</li><li>Facilitate copyright transfer agreements and requests for reuse permissions relating to publications</li><li>Coordinate printing and shipping of posters for congress presentations</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><p></p><p></p> <p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, or MS) in life sciences or related field and 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry-related publication support</li><li>Familiarity with scientific and medical terminology</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)</li><li>Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively</li><li>Proactive approach to problem solving and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Preferred qualifications/experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Familiarity with Good Publication Practices and ICMJE requirements</li></ul><ul><li>Knowledge of reference management software (e.g., EndNote)</li></ul><ul><li>Familiarity with electronic document management systems for publication management (Pubstrat, Datavision/iEnvision)</li></ul><p></p><p>The estimated salary range for this position is $145-160K.&nbsp; Actual salary determination is dependent on a variety of factors some of which include: experience, qualifications, and geographic location.&nbsp; This position may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus or an incentive compensation plan (eligibility varies based on role and position level), discretionary stock-based long-term incentives, paid time off, and a comprehensive benefits package.</p> <ul> <li>401(k) plan with company match</li> <li>Medical, dental, and vision plans</li> <li>Company-offered Life and Accidental Death &amp; Dismemberment (AD&amp;D) insurance</li> <li>Company-provided short and long-term disability benefits</li> <li>Unique offerings of Pet Insurance and Legal Insurance</li> <li>Employee Assistance Program</li> <li>Employee Discounts</li> <li>Professional Development</li> <li>Health Saving Account (HSA)</li> <li>Flexible Spending Accounts</li> <li>Various incentive compensation plans</li> <li>Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity Insurance&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Mental Health resources</li> <li>Paid leave benefits for new parents</li> </ul><p></p><p><strong>Ascendis Pharma is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
