Cryoport Systems&#39; proprietary Cryoport Express</span><span>®</span><span><span> </span>shippers, Cryoportal</span><span>®</span><span><span> </span>Logistics Management Platform, leading-edge Smartpak</span><span>™</span><span><span> </span>Condition Monitoring System and geo-sensing technology paired with unparalleled logistics expertise and 24/7/365 customer support, make Cryoport Systems the end-to-end temperature controlled supply chain partner that you can trust.</span></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p>Position Summary</p><p></p><p>The Manager- Business Development, Reproductive Medicine is responsible for increasing market awareness, sales, and profitability by expansion of the number of solicited inquiries, increasing the conversion rate of opportunities with prospective and/or existing accounts, proactively identifying Request for Proposals (RFPs) and ultimately securing and expanding volume of New Business revenue of the Company&#39;s products and/or services.</p><p></p><p>Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</p><ul><li>Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts and individual targets; soliciting new accounts; building rapport; providing company information and explanations; preparing client hand-offs to the sales team</li><li>Participate with the Global VP-Reproductive Medicine to establish strategic plans and objectives</li><li>Cold-call prospective accounts &amp; individuals, provide technical product information, prepare clientspecific call scripts and other data to respond to client needs</li><li>Support management in determining service viability to include work with internal teams to translate client needs and expectations into reality; develop industry knowledge and maintain awareness of industry trends; perform other duties as assigned by management to meet business changes</li><li>Function independently to influence the decision-making process of potential clients and develop strategies which anticipate client objections or ambivalence</li><li>Ensure that sales targets are achieved by establishing client outreach marketing strategies, maintaining prospecting outreach and client follow up</li><li>Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc</li><li>Attend internal business development calls/meetings to discuss new opportunities and sales pipeline</li><li>Set-up/attend client calls (as needed)</li><li>Works closely with Global VP-Reproductive Medicine, and Business Development team to further account penetration of existing key accounts, face-to-face meetings and RFPs</li><li>Maintain and manage data collection and sales team compliance with Salesforce for all sales activity</li><li>Generate/maintain KPIís out of Salesforce to highlight increases in face-to-face meetings and new account penetration</li><li>Provide frequent updates to the Global VP-Reproductive Medicine on activity and conversations with prospective clients</li><li>Generate client interest for potential webinars, industry meetings, audio conferences or other Cryoport sponsored client events</li><li>Participate in the ongoing review of Cryoport business development procedures to ensure consistency</li><li>Review of metrics on a weekly or monthly basis to assess productivity</li><li>Learn messaging around Cryoport differentiators and be able to communicate them to clients</li><li>Maintain professional and technical knowledge; establish personal networks; and participate in relative business professional societies</li><li>Ability to effectively present information to senior management</li></ul><p></p><p>Competencies:</p><ul><li>Strong communicator, both written and verbal</li><li>Positive, proactive attitude</li><li>Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to prioritize</li><li>Strong organizational skills</li><li>Strong interpersonal and influencing skills</li><li>Proven problem solver and independent thinker</li><li>Strong knowledge of CRM platforms (Salesforce a plus)</li><li>Strong knowledge, understanding and experience of social business networks (i.e. LinkedIn) Qualifications and Education Requirements</li><li>Bachelorís degree in a business or scientific discipline</li><li>Understanding of the requirements and specifications in the logistics and/or pharmaceutical field</li><li>A minimum of five years sales experience in logistics/healthcare field</li></ul>
