This role performs troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components while supporting process improvements and equipment reliability initiatives. The technician works closely with engineering and production teams to identify root causes of equipment issues and implement continuous improvement solutions.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><b><u>Responsibilities</u></b></p><p><b>Maintenance</b></p><ul><li>Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.</li><li>Replace or repair defective components including motors, drives, belts, bearings, pulleys, sensors, relays, and switches.</li><li>Install and repair electrical wiring, conduit, and related equipment on machinery and facility systems.</li><li>Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment.</li><li>Use diagnostic tools, measurement devices, and repair tools to identify and correct equipment issues.</li><li>Operate machining equipment (lathe, mill, drill press, grinders) to fabricate or repair parts as needed.</li></ul><ul><li>Perform maintenance and repairs on facility systems including lighting, power distribution, and building infrastructure.</li><li>Maintain plant grounds including snow removal and ensuring access to entrances and fire hydrants.</li><li>Operate forklifts, lifts, and other maintenance equipment as required.</li></ul><p><b>Process Improvement &amp; Engineering Support</b></p><ul><li>Work with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot equipment issues and identify root causes.</li><li>Assist in implementing equipment upgrades, process improvements, and automation projects.</li><li>Support installation, modification, and commissioning of new or improved equipment.</li><li>Provide input on equipment reliability, maintainability, and efficiency improvements.</li><li>Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, productivity, and equipment uptime.</li></ul><p><b>Operational Support</b></p><ul><li>Review work orders and document maintenance activities.</li><li>Maintain maintenance supplies and parts inventory.</li><li>Assist with equipment setup, adjustments, and production support as needed.</li><li>Maintain clean and organized work areas.</li></ul><p><b>Safety and Compliance</b></p><ul><li>Follow all safety procedures including lockout/tagout requirements.</li><li>Adhere to company policies and AS9100 quality requirements.</li><li>Support training, safety initiatives, and continuous improvement activities.</li></ul><p><b>Other Duties</b></p><ul><li>Work overtime as operational needs require.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul><div></div><p><b>Physical Demands</b></p><ul><li>Frequent standing, walking, climbing, and use of hands and tools.</li><li>Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in industrial environments</li><li>Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work at heights or in confined spaces</li><li>Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or on-call as needed</li></ul><div></div><p><b>Minimum Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of lockout/tagout and safe work practices.</li><li>Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.</li><li>Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.</li><li>Ability to use measurement and diagnostic tools.</li><li>Basic computer skills and strong attention to detail.</li><li>Mechanical aptitude and ability to adapt to changing production needs.</li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left">Pay Range:</p>30.60 - 37.40<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left">We offer a comprehensive benefits package that may include medical, dental, vision, 401k matching, and more!</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><span>Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, <span>candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes</span> as permitted or required by applicable law</span>.</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left">We are an equal opportunity employer, and all applicants will be considered for employment without attention to their membership in any protected class.
