Maintenance Mechanic - NIGHT SHIFT

<p><b>Full‑time | On‑site | Facilities &amp; Engineering</b><b> | Permanent Night Shift</b></p><p><br />This position is for Night shift (including overtime/working holidays (double time if falls on your shift)There should be a clear understanding that this is not a stepping stone to a Day Position. This is a Night position and should be considered permanently as such. Rarely do Day positions arise. We&#39;d like someone who has worked this shift previously and excels in it.</p><p></p><p>Our Coppell manufacturing site is growing, and we’re looking for a skilled, safety‑minded <b>Maintenance Mechanic</b> to help keep our equivalent, utilities, and facility systems running at peak. If you enjoy hands‑on problem‑solving in a fast‑paced, regulated environment, this is an outstanding chance to create an impact.</p><p></p><p><b>What You’ll Do</b></p><ul><li><p>Perform routine, emergency, and preventive maintenance on equipment and utilities</p></li><li><p>Install, repair, and maintain systems supporting API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) production</p></li><li><p>Maintain equipment files and spare‑parts inventory</p></li><li><p>Document work through maintenance orders and change controls</p></li><li><p>Support safe operations including lockout/tagout and confined‑space entry</p></li><li><p>Troubleshoot and respond quickly to production needs</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Minimum Qualifications</b></p><p>• High school diploma /GED</p><p>• 3&#43; years as a mechanic or operator in pharmaceutical or similar cGMP manufacturing operations<br />• Knowledge of and experience working in facilities, utilities, mechanical, and electrical systems<br />• Ability to read and implement technical drawings and (P&amp;IDs, electrical/wiring diagrams, specs)<br />• Ability to lift 75 lbs and perform physical tasks (stooping, crawling, twisting, kneeling, climbing ladders and walking on roofs, etc.)<br />• Must have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus</p><p></p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></p><p>• Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing operations in areas such as: agitator, reactor, heat transfer systems, pressure vessel</p><p>• Associate&#39;s degree: Mechatronics and related fields</p><p><span>• Journeyman License (Electrical, HVAC, Pipefitter, etc.) or certifications/training certificates related to industrial systems </span>(HVAC, chillers, compressors, water purification system, hydraulic and pneumatic systems)</p><p></p><p><b>You’ll Work With</b></p><p>A collaborative team across <b>Quality</b>, <b>Operations</b>, and <b>external equipment vendors</b> to ensure safe, efficient production.pre drugs and the demand is strong and continuing to grow.
