Maintenance Mechanic

Conducts general maintenance activities primarily on machinery and related equipment. Maintains repair and maintenance records. Troubleshoots problems and escalates the most complex issues to senior coworkers. Typically has 3-5 years of experience and works under broad supervision.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><ul><li><p>Troubleshoot and repair production machinery, automation cells, robots, and facility systems.</p></li><li><p>Install production machinery, facility hardware, and systems relating to both.</p></li><li><p>Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on all facilities and production machinery.</p></li><li><p>Other duties as assigned by Manufacturing and Maintenance Supervisor.</p></li><li><p>Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.</p></li><li><p>Provide on-the-job training to new employees.</p></li><li><p>Order tools and machinery inventory parts.</p></li><li><p>Complete and manage own work orders and maintain parts inventory in MaintainX CMMS software.</p></li><li><p>Communicate with and schedule outside vendors and contractors.</p></li><li><p>Maintain and secure work tools.</p></li><li><p>Clean and maintain work areas.</p></li><li><p>Communicate with operators and team members from other shifts.</p></li><li><p>Create, modify, and maintain job-related procedures (LOTO, Preventive Maintenance)</p></li></ul><p></p><p><u>Skill Requirements:</u></p><ul><li><p>Advanced skills (Journeyman level) required in one or more of the following areas: electro-mechanical, controls, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.</p></li><li><p>Troubleshooting controls, systems, sensors, and automated equipment</p></li><li><p>Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency with a DMM (Fluke Digital multimeter).</p></li><li><p>Microsoft Outlook and Word.</p></li><li><p>Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.</p></li><li><p>Manual dexterity is required for operating machinery and computers.</p></li><li><p>The ability to lift up to 30 pounds is required.</p></li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><ul><li><p>Valid CT Driver&#39;s License</p></li><li><p>High school diploma or equivalent</p></li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><span>Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, <span>candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes</span> as permitted or required by applicable law</span>.</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left">We are an equal opportunity employer, and all applicants will be considered for employment without attention to their membership in any protected class.
