If you are excited about a role but don&#39;t meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2>Job Summary</h2><p><span>To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a</span><span>n</span><span> <b>Equipment</b></span><b><span> Maintenance Engineer</span></b><span> located in <b>Jiading</b></span> <span>Shanghai.</span></p><p><b><i><span>For Electrical:</span></i></b><span>  Maintains and troubleshoots in-circuit and functional testers, associated test fixtures, stress chambers and chamber racks to ensure manufacturing test equipment is on-line.</span></p><p></p><p><span>Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Equipment Maintenance Engineer role involves… </span></p><p></p><p><b><span>What a typical day looks like:</span></b></p><ul><li><span>Through troubleshooting, identifies machine malfunctions and isolates the failure mechanism.</span></li><li><span>Repairs the failure mechanism in the most cost-effective manner.</span></li><li><span>Performs preventive maintenance at specified intervals and schedules.</span></li><li><span>Performs calibrations and re-qualifications on equipment at specified intervals and schedules.</span></li><li><span>Assists process technicians and engineers with the installation and removal of process equipment.</span></li><li><span>Researches and implements corrective action reports and process tracking mechanisms.</span></li><li><span>Records times and problems in equipment logs.</span></li><li><span>Provides daily equipment functioning activity information.</span></li><li><span>Sets up standard and special purpose laboratory equipment to test, evaluate and calibrate other instruments and test equipment.</span></li><li><span>Disassembles instruments and equipment and inspects components for defects.</span></li><li><span>Aligns repairs, replaces, and balances component parts and circuitry.</span></li><li><span>Devises formulas to solve problems in measurements and calibrations.</span></li><li><span>Assists engineers in formulating test, calibration, repair and evaluation plans and procedures to maintain precision accuracy of measuring, recording, and indicating instruments and equipment.</span></li><li><span>May require travel to other Flex sites or equipment vendors&#39; locations.</span></li><li><span>Highest level may perform both software and hardware maintenance.</span></li><li><span>Allocating work to a team of fitters.</span></li><li><span>Checking and calibrating instruments to make sure they are accurate.</span></li><li><span>Fitting new parts.</span></li><li><span>Carrying out quality inspections.</span></li><li><span>Acknowledging immediately to equipment breakdowns.</span></li><li><span>Fixing faults on site or arranging for replacement machinery or equipment to be installed.</span></li><li><span>Keeping production managers informed of progress.</span></li><li><span>Organizing teams or unipersonal to make sure that 24-hour cover is available.</span></li><li><span>Working on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or computerized systems</span></li></ul><p></p><p><b>The experience we’re looking to add to our team:</b></p><ul><li><span>Typically requires an associate  degree or above in related field, military technical training or equivalent education and training.</span></li><li><span>Preferable major is electronic and/or mechanical engineering.</span></li><li><span>Typically requires 5 years of related experience.</span></li><li><span>2-3 years working experience in production with electronic products knowledge of electrical instruments i.e. tests instruments and fixtures within electronic production.</span></li><li><span>Good IT knowledge, MS office skills.</span></li><li><span>Good skill in reading, writing English, speaking English will be a plus.</span></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>What you’ll receive for the great work you provide: </span></b></p><p></p><ul><li><span>Social Insurance</span></li><li><span>Life Insurance</span></li><li><span>Paid Time Off</span></li></ul><p></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2></h2><h2>Job Category</h2>Operations<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><span>Required Skills:</span></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left">Optional Skills:</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><span>Flex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
