Insert control instructions into the operating system of the machine to operate.
Prepare, adjust, and operate Vertical CNC machining center in accordance with procedures, standards, and according to production schedule.
Sets up, change cutting tools, adjust controls, and operate machining center to build parts for custom HVAC product.
Make machine adjustments to ensure product quality.
Review program specifications or plans to determine and define machine operations and sequencing, finished part dimensions, or CNC sequences.
Check accuracy of part dimensions using various measuring tools.
Program codes if required for corrections or reworks.
Safely loading and unloading raw materials & parts and setting up any equipment or accessories needed during production.
Calibrate all necessary tools/items according to manufacturer guidelines to run smoothly.
Maintaining equipment and working area in very good condition.
Ensure compliance with quality standards.
Perform tasks while respecting safety rules.
May be called upon to work on other equipment, depending on production needs (band saw, shear, press drill).
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or DVS.
Experience: Relevant experience with a CNC machining center. Experience in HVAC is an asset.
Computer Skills: CNC Programming experience is an asset.
Communication: English required.
Certificates & Licenses: None required.
Available to travel as required for equipment training.
Able to read and interpret production drawings accurately.
Perform work with a high level of precision and attention to detail.
Maintain a steady work pace while consistently delivering quality results.
Proactively identify, address, and resolve work-related issues.
Demonstrate versatility, autonomy, and strong accountability.
Contribute positively as a collaborative and reliable team member.
Actively seek opportunities for continuous improvement and development.

Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
