Machine Operator | Alexandria, MNWe’re hiring a highly skilled Machine Operator who can step into a fast-paced, precision machining environment and make an immediate impact.
This is not an entry-level position — we’re looking for an individual who understands machining fundamentals, thrives on producing quality parts, and enjoys working with advanced technology and equipment.
You’ll be part of a growing manufacturing team that values autonomy, accuracy, and pride in getting the job done right the first time.
Location: Alexandria, MN
Job Type: Full-Time
Shift: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm
Pay: $20 to $29/hour
What You’ll Do
Keep Production Moving – Start, operate, and monitor machines to ensure efficient production cycles.
Adjust for Performance – Control and adjust machine settings such as speed and calibration to maintain optimal performance.
Handle Materials – Feed raw materials and parts into semi-automated machines safely and efficiently.
Inspect for Quality – Use precision measuring tools like calipers and micrometers to ensure parts meet specifications.
Troubleshoot Issues – Identify and resolve machine issues during operation to minimize downtime.
Monitor Output – Check finished products to identify defects or inconsistencies and ensure quality standards are met.
Track Production – Maintain accurate records of production output, including approved and defective units.
Maintain Equipment – Perform basic machine upkeep including cleaning and routine checks.
Keep Things Safe & Clean – Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Work as a Team – Collaborate with coworkers and supervisors to meet production goals and improve operations.
What We’re Looking For:
2+ years of experience as a machine operator preferred.
Working knowledge of high-speed or automated machinery.
Experience using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, or manuals is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently in a production environment.
Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Willingness to work overtime as needed based on production demands.
