This role is responsible for both strategic and tactical oversight of the logistics center, ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across all functions.</p><p><br />The successful candidate will manage daily fulfillment operations, develop and train staff, maintain audit readiness, and collaborate with global teams to keep the Hoofddorp site successful. </p><p><br /><b>What you will do : </b></p><ul><li><p>Lead daily operations, including workload planning, staff management, and training.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with internal processes, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.</p></li><li><p>Maintain facility readiness for audits and inspections.</p></li><li><p>Manage Cryoshuttle service and associated regulatory requirements.</p></li><li><p>Design and implement training programs for logistics personnel.</p></li><li><p>Generate and present operational reports (daily, weekly, monthly).</p></li><li><p>Manage operating budgets, invoicing accuracy, and cost control.</p></li><li><p>Drive strategic and tactical projects across departments.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Who you are : </b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s or advanced degree required.</p></li><li><p>Minimum 10 years of experience in logistics management and customer service.</p></li><li><p>Proven and successful experience in staff management, including team development, performance oversight, and fostering a positive work environment.</p></li><li><p>Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.</p></li><li><p>Fluent in English and Dutch; additional languages are a plus.</p></li><li><p>High ethical standards and integrity.</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical, organizational, and planning abilities.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Why Join Us?</b><br />Cryoport Systems is a global leader in temperature-controlled logistics for life sciences.
