Lead Sourcing / Purchasing

Job Summary:<br>The Team Lead Sourcing / Purchasing in Songdo will be responsible for Strategic purchasing, Operational purchasing for materials, and Customs clearance.<br>Coordiate with internal end external dept. to guarantee smooth processes, making goods could delivery on time.<br>Main Scope: Material purchasing such as CAPEX (Equipment), MRO, PC hardware, Gases, Energy &amp; etc. and Customs Clearance for import materials.<br>Sub Scope: Services purchasing.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><b><u>Responsibilities:</u></b></p><ul><li>Lead and supervise the Purchasing part in daily operations.</li><li>Market research for each material and develop new suppliers.</li><li>Ensure adherence to globally defined business processes and execute company regulations/policies.</li><li>Monitor materials master data, inventory, safety stock, and consignment.</li><li>Provide training in order purchase and conduct regular KPI reviews and improvements.</li><li>Coordinate and communicate with internal and external departments, including headquarters.</li><li>Oversee global and local supply issues, lead time monitoring, and critical supply issue follow-up.</li><li>Customs clearance and duty excemption.</li><li>Facilitate and actively participate in new business integration and projects.</li><li>Reports to Sourcing Manager Songdo and Cooperate with Catagory Managers HQ</li><li>Spend analysis and budget analysis</li><li>Cooperate with Service purchasing part.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><u>Qualifications &amp; Requirements:</u></b></p><p><i>Requirement and skills:</i></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or in a related field</li><li>In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and Importation.</li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills</li></ul><p></p><p><i>Experiences:</i></p><ul><li>More than 10 years of related experience preferred</li><li>Must have Machinery and Equipment purchasing experience</li><li>Experience in In-direct material (MRO, Consumables, Gases, Energy &amp; etc) for Factory operation.</li><li>Experience in ERP system (SAP preferred) and MS Office</li></ul><p></p><p><i>Language:</i></p><ul><li>Good command in both English &amp; Korean (Commnuication with HQ)</li></ul><p></p><p><i>Working Conditions/Environment:</i></p><p>Willingness to travel if needed</p><p></p><p><b>About Sartorius </b></p><p></p><p>Sartorius is part of the solution in the fight against cancer, dementia, and many other diseases.
