Labcorp is seeking a Lead Software QA Engineer, Robotics and Automation to join our team at our 1302 Hall Boulevard location in Bloomfield, CT!
Work Schedule: This is a full time, exempt (salaried) position assigned to a First Shift schedule, with standard business hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST. Business needs may occasionally require flexibility in work hours, including earlier, later, or additional hours, with reasonable notice provided when possible.
Work Authorization: This position requires permanent authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future. Sponsorship (including H-1B, OPT/CPT, EAD, or other temporary work authorization) is not available.

About the Role
This is a newly created position responsible for building and leading a pre-release software validation function within Software Development. The role combines software quality assurance, unit testing oversight, cybersecurity validation, process development, and hands-on operation of laboratory automation equipment. Success in this role includes establishing a repeatable pre-release testing process, implementing measurable quality standards, validating software releases prior to independent QA testing, and effectively diagnosing issues spanning software, hardware, and system integrations.
This position requires regular hands-on work within a laboratory automation and production-emulation environment in addition to standard computer-based work. Potential career progression opportunities may include Software Development roles.
