Roles and Responsibilities
Supporting the Program Manager, ensures that multi-functional projects integrate properly within the product/program. Optimize team performance across the program value chain, functionally and technically.
Ability to proactively manage cross-functional interdependencies to maximize team efficiency and avoid gaps/delays in mid to long-term execution. Anticipate integration issues and discern appropriate actions to progress the team forward. Connects planning and cross-functional impacts of product NPI, Installed Base, Obsolescence and End-of Life.
Working with the system, subsystem/platform and service leadership teams to deliver quality products on time, within budget and with the necessary features
Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.
In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or above
Advanced experience in the Engineering/Technology & Program Integration.
3+ years product quality management or project management relative work experience.
Effective communication skills and boundaryless behavior—ability to present ideas clearly and concisely
Demonstrated understanding/experience with the New Product Introduction (NPI) or Product Lifecycle Management project rigor.
Desired Characteristics
Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
Experience working in systems engineering and project management.
Experience working and coordinating with global engineering sites and manufacturing site.
Customer orientation: self-motivated, self-starter with the ability to work independently, learn quickly and work under pressure.
Medical device working experience is highly preferred.
