Lead Pricing Agreement Representative – Dedicated Sales Support

Position Summary

The Lead Pricing Agreement Representative, as part of the Dedicated Sales Support team, provides dedicated operational support to assigned sales teams and serves as a key liaison between Sales, customers, and internal business partners.

This role assumes ownership and accountability for order administration and sales support activities for an assigned group of sales teams, including quote and order research, order entry, open order management, pricing and agreement support, issue resolution, and cross-functional coordination.

As a lead-level team member, this position also applies strong analytical and problem-solving skills to complex customer, order, and pricing issues; identifies root causes and process improvement opportunities; and provides guidance, training, and support to team members. The role requires a high level of accuracy, responsiveness, organization, and collaboration to deliver an excellent customer and sales experience.

What Will You Do?

• Serve as the primary liaison between assigned sales teams, customers, and relevant internal teams, including Triage, E-Commerce, B2B, CAM, Product Management, Technical Support, Customs, Credit & Collections, Service, Price Maintenance, inter-divisional teams, and other business partners.
• Assume full ownership and accountability for order administration and sales support functions for an assigned group of sales teams.
• Research and resolve complex quote, order, pricing, and customer-related issues, coordinating across functions as necessary to drive timely resolution.
• Perform order entry and ensure order accuracy, completeness, and alignment with customer and business requirements.
• Manage open orders proactively, identifying potential delays, discrepancies, or other issues and coordinating resolution with the appropriate stakeholders.
• Support pricing agreement and contract-related activities, including researching pricing discrepancies, interpreting agreement requirements, and ensuring accurate implementation.
• Conduct detailed research and analysis to identify root causes of pricing, quoting, ordering, and process-related issues.
• Partner with Sales and internal teams to resolve escalated customer concerns and minimize disruption to the customer experience.
• Support the quoting process and collaborate with Sales and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely quote execution.
• Maintain a high degree of accuracy when working with customer, order, pricing, and agreement information across multiple systems.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce recurring issues, and increase operational efficiency.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities and follow issues through resolution while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
• Provide guidance, training, and mentoring to team members on processes, systems, and issue resolution.
• Support projects and business initiatives that improve sales support, pricing accuracy, order management, and the overall customer experience.
• Effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment while working independently and supporting broader team objectives.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to Thermo Fisher Scientific business practices, policies, and ethical standards.

How Will You Get Here?

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, a scientific discipline, or a related field preferred.

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in sales support, pricing operations, customer service, order management, or a related role.
• Demonstrated experience with order entry, order inquiry, and order management systems and processes.
• Experience researching and resolving complex customer, order, quote, and/or pricing issues.
• Experience with pricing systems, pricing agreements, or contract management preferred.
• Experience supporting Sales and working across multiple internal functions.
• Experience training, mentoring, or providing guidance to team members preferred.
• Salesforce and quoting process experience preferred.
• Experience with AMPS, mainframe/database systems, Cognos, or comparable business intelligence and reporting tools preferred.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with Sales, customers, leadership, and cross-functional business partners.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to perform root cause analysis and resolve complex issues.
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of issues and drive them through resolution.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy when working with orders, pricing, agreements, and customer information.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to interpret and analyze complex pricing agreements, customer requirements, and business processes.
• Strong stakeholder-management skills and the ability to coordinate effectively across multiple teams and functions.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and escalate issues appropriately.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to support, train, and mentor team members.
• Project management and process-improvement skills with the ability to identify opportunities for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ability to adapt to changing business priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in New York is $20.93–$27.91.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
