If this sounds interesting, we’d like to meet you. </p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><h2>Job Summary</h2></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><p><span>To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a </span><b><span>Lead</span></b> <span>located in </span><b><span>Henrico.</span></b></p><p></p><p><span>Reporting to the </span><b><span>Operations Supervisor,</span></b> <span>the </span><b><span>Lead</span></b> <span>role is responsible for providing leadership and direction to groups of non-exempt employees </span></p><p></p><p></p><p><b><span>What a typical day looks like:</span></b></p><ul><li><p><span>Provide ongoing feedback on performance of individuals through both formal and informal evaluations.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Initiate and participate in process development and cost improvement projects.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Coordinate people resource requirements for the department.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Assist in department budget planning and manage department expenses.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Communicate daily plan and any production or customer service issues</span></p></li><li><p><span>Highlight material shortages, interface with Expediter/Purchasing on any part shortages</span></p></li><li><p><span>Recognize and monitor bottlenecks.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Report and alert resources concerning downtime.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Interface with Test Support/Maintenance on equipment problems.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Track time for NPI/Pre-production/re-work.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Communicate with opposite shift to ensure communication flow.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Update department communication boards.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Follow quality indicators. Stop and alert if predefined indicators are below target.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Primary contact for response to situations where scrap is occurring in any process step.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b>The experience we’re looking to add to our team:</b></p><ul><li><p>Highschool diploma and an associate’s degree, vocational or technical training, or equivalent experience</p></li><li><p>Minimum of 4&#43; years of related experience and has awareness of Flex technologies/ techniques</p></li><li><p>Demonstrates functional and process knowledge and participates in process.</p></li><li><p>Requires high level of competency related to function.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrates advanced technical skills and serves as a consultant in manufacturing line skills with other employees.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrates broad knowledge of manufacturing line techniques and may improve processes.</p></li><li><p>Ability to read and comprehend and interpret moderately complex instructions.</p></li><li><p>Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees, and supervisors of the organization</p></li><li><p>Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure.
