Laboratory Project Specialist - Pre Analytical - On-Site

Labcorp is seeking an On-Site Laboratory Project Specialist to join our team in Dublin OH.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance operational dashboards, scorecards, and performance metrics for pre- and peri-analytical departments
• Partner with leadership to identify, analyze, and present operational trends related to productivity, quality, staffing, service, and efficiency
• Create executive summaries, presentations, and visual reports that support decision-making and strategic initiatives
• Utilize Power BI, Smartsheet, Excel, and other analytical tools to automate reporting and improve visibility of key performance indicators
• Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis, project tracking, and performance monitoring
• Monitor departmental metrics and proactively identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost savings
• Support project management activities including timeline development, milestone tracking, meeting documentation, and action-item follow-up
• Serve as a resource for leaders by providing data-driven recommendations and insights that support operational excellence
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes, reporting capabilities, data accuracy, and communication

Minimum Qualifications  

• Associate’s in Business, Analytics, Healthcare Administration, Operations Management, Information Systems, or related field required
• Minimum 3 years of experience with data analysis, visualization, and reporting tools such as Power BI, Smartsheet, and other business intelligence platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree Business, Analytics, Healthcare Administration, Operations Management, Information Systems, or related field required
• 2 years of experience within multiple pre- and peri-analytical areas

Additional Job Standards

• Ability to collect, interpret, and analyze operational data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and process improvements
• Strong presentation development skills, including translating complex data into clear and actionable information for leadership audiences
• Knowledge of Labcorp systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Experience building dashboards, scorecards, KPIs, and executive-level reporting
• Experience working in a fast paced environment
• Ability to handle the physical requirements of the position
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs

**Pay Range: $24.03 – $28.85

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. 

Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
