Description
We are seeking a motivated Lab Scientist to join our Biophysics team in Munich. In this role, you will work closely with cross functional groups at Crelux to execute biophysical screening, small molecule profiling, and assay development across a broad range of target classes and therapeutic modalities. You will contribute directly to high quality data generation that supports our global drug discovery partners. Responsibilities include: Work independently and collaboratively within the Biophysics team; Perform protein QC and execute biophysical assays including MST, Spectral Shift, SPR, ITC, DSF, and DLS; Establish, maintain, and update standard operating procedures (SOPs); Document raw data, support data evaluation, contribute to result reporting, and assist in troubleshooting; Ensure accurate and compliant documentation according to internal quality standards; Contribute to the development and optimization of new methods, assays, and workflows; Identify, address, and resolve technical challenges within your area of responsibility.
Requirements
Completed training as a Lab Technician or a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Life Sciences (Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or related fields). Hands-on laboratory experience in an academic or industrial environment. Ideally, practical experience with biophysical or biochemical assay technologies such as SPR, MST, DLS, DSF, FP, ITC, HTRF, fluorescence based assays. Fluent spoken and written English; German is a strong advantage. Strong interest in new technologies, methodologies, and continuous learning. Experience with laboratory automation is a plus.
