Lab Analyst I (Analytical)

<p style="text-align:inherit">&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><h2><b>JOB DESCRIPTION:</b></h2><p>MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE</p><p>Responsible for ensuring all testing activities are carried out in a safe and productive manner.</p><p>Assures compliance to in-house and/ or external specifications and standards, such as GMPs, Class A and ISO regulations.</p><p>May be required to do GMP/ GLP training.<span>                 </span></p><p>Assists in trouble-shooting and determining root cause for quality issues on production floor.</p><p>Alerts engineering and operations to conditions that may adversely impact the customer experience.</p><p>Responsible for audits, incoming quality assurance, and feedback and reporting.</p><p>Provide testing, result reviewing, equipment calibration and maintenance as well as analytical services to Plant Operations to ensure seamless and smooth process operations.</p><p>All operations in the Analytical Laboratory are carried out in a safe and productive manner, adhering to GMP/ GLP and ISO/ IEC 17025 standards at all times.</p><p>Develops and applies basic procedural knowledge of work area.</p><p>Entry or trainee level role.</p><p>Typically acquired through on-the-job training.</p><p>Knowledge limited to specific processes needed to perform work tasks.</p><p>May utilize basic systems and tools in completion of tasks.</p><p>Develops a working knowledge of how own activities integrate with the work of the team.</p><p>Assignments are routine and recurring in nature.</p><p>Uses basic information-gathering skills.</p><p>Assignments require limited judgment with little to no decision-making.</p><p>Activities focus on support and maintenance rather than development or implementation.</p><p>Receives close supervision or is guided by detailed instructions for all work.</p><p>Organizes and completes tasks according to assigned priorities.</p><p>Demonstrates an awareness of the relative urgency of tasks and responds accordingly.</p><p>Exchanges and verifies job related information to provide basic support.</p><p>Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.</p><p></p><p><u>Experience Requirements</u></p><p></p><p>Minimum 1 year experience in chemistry laboratory testing environment, equivalent combination of education and work experience.
