Our goal is to offer new solutions that not only improve the lives of people with type 1 diabetes but also create a strong collaboration with the healthcare system and healthcare professionals involved in the treatment of diabetes.</p><p>As Key Account Manager, you will play a central role in building and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals across the Dutch hospital sector. Together, we chase the miracles of science to improve people’s lives.</p><p></p><p><b>Main responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive adoption, optimize access, and strengthen collaboration with key centers to deliver sustainable impact for people with type 1 diabetes.</li><li>Establishing and maintaining close relationships with key individuals in the healthcare system, including doctors, nurses and clinical researchers within type 1 diabetes.</li><li>Communicate scientific and clinical information on early detection and emerging treatment approaches in type 1 diabetes, fostering understanding and collaboration among healthcare professionals.</li><li>Gather insights from clinical practice to identify barriers and opportunities in early detection and treatment, and work cross-functionally to develop practical solutions that support HCPs in improving patient outcomes.</li><li>Contributing to the promotion of knowledge and evidence-based practice around autoimmune type 1 diabetes.</li><li>Lead innovative educational and engagement initiatives — such as scientific events, peer-to-peer exchanges, and omnichannel engagement campaigns — to effectively share knowledge and strengthen collaboration with healthcare professionals in type 1 diabetes care.</li></ul><p></p><h2><b>About you </b></h2><ul><li><b>A nursing/healthcare background and experience in diabetes</b>: You have experience in diabetes treatment and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by people with diabetes and healthcare professionals in the treatment of type 1 diabetes.</li><li><b>Knowledge of the Dutch hospital system</b>: You have practical experience from the Dutch healthcare system and understand the clinical and organizational processes necessary to implement new treatment measures.</li><li><b>Strong communication skills</b>: You can convey complex medical topics in a simple and understandable way.
