This is an exciting opportunity to sit at the forefront of projects and enhancements across our HR Information Systems, combining Workday integration tools with emerging orchestration capabilities in Flowise and Flowise AI.</p><h3></h3><h3>Key Information</h3><ul><li><b>Department/Business Area</b>: HR Technology / HR Information Systems</li><li><b>Job Title</b>: Consultant – Junior Workday Integration Specialist</li><li><b>Location</b>: Guadalajara</li><li><b>Employment Type</b>: Full-time</li></ul><h3></h3><h3>What you’ll do</h3><ul><li><b>Deliver Workday integration solutions</b>: Collaborate with <b>AstraZeneca IT teams</b> (e.g., <b>Identity Management, MuleSoft</b>) and vendor partners to design, build, and maintain integrations between <b>Workday</b> and internal/external systems.</li><li><b>Leverage Flowise and Flowise AI for orchestration</b>: Utilize <b>Flowise/Flowise AI</b> to design, visualize, and orchestrate integration workflows, including API calls, data transformations, error handling, testing, and monitoring for Workday use cases. Apply <b>AI-driven workflow components</b> to improve data quality checks, routing, and exception handling.</li><li><b>Analyze requirements and document designs</b>: Translate business requirements into robust integration solutions; produce clear documentation of <b>requirements, solution options, impacts, alternatives, and final decisions</b>.</li><li><b>Participate in HR discovery workshops</b>: Engage with HR partners across <b>Centers of Excellence</b> to scope integration needs, demonstrate prototypes, and refine designs.</li><li><b>Team collaboration and governance</b>: Work cross-functionally with teammates, Global Process Owners, and HR stakeholders; adhere to <b>AstraZeneca’s change and release methodology</b>, including versioning and deployment processes for Workday integrations and Flowise/Flowise AI assets.</li><li><b>Project reporting and status</b>: Provide timely status updates to your Engagement Manager, technical lead, or supervisor; keep stakeholders apprised of <b>risks, issues, and progress</b> across Workday and Flowise-enabled integrations.</li><li><b>Design, develop, and implement integrations</b>: Build and support <b>Workday integrations</b> (EIB, Studio, CCW/CCB, Payroll) and complementary <b>Flowise/Flowise AI</b> workflows for orchestration, validation, and observability.</li></ul><h3></h3><h3>Essential skills and experience</h3><ul><li><b>Consulting and stakeholder management</b>: Strong consulting and presentation skills with the ability to manage customer expectations and communicate integration trade-offs.</li><li><b>Learning mindset</b>: Desire and willingness to learn new tools, techniques, concepts, and methodologies, including evolving capabilities in <b>Workday</b> and <b>Flowise AI</b>.</li><li><b>Analytical skills</b>: Experience using analytics and reporting tools to validate and monitor integrations.</li><li><b>Fast learner</b>: Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training; curiosity to prototype with <b>Flowise AI</b> and <b>Workday</b> integration tools.</li><li><b>HR tech familiarity</b>: Familiarity with HR systems and technologies with the ability to evaluate and recommend suitable solutions and <b>integration patterns</b>.</li><li><b>Workday integration expertise</b>: Experience with <b>EIB, Studio, CCW, CCB, Payroll Integrations</b>, and <b>APIs</b> with Workday.</li><li><b>Flowise AI knowledge</b>: Understanding <b>Flowise/Flowise AI</b> for building and orchestrating workflow pipelines and AI agents that interact with APIs, perform data enrichment, and support automated triage of integration exceptions; awareness of <b>AI safety and compliance</b> practices (prompt management, PII handling, evaluation/monitoring) within enterprise integrations.</li><li><b>Web services and security</b>: Knowledge of <b>REST, JSON, SOAP, HTTP, SSL/TLS, PGP, SAML, OAuth</b> and how to apply them within Workday.</li><li><b>Data transformation</b>: Experience with <b>XML/XSLT</b> and <b>Java</b> is helpful; ability to map and transform data for Workday integrations.</li><li><b>Workday reporting</b>: Experience with Workday reporting tools for extraction and integration use cases.</li><li><b>Design documentation</b>: Experience creating detailed <b>system integration specifications</b>, <b>field mappings</b>, and <b>system process designs</b>, including documentation and runbooks.</li><li><b>Lifecycle experience</b>: Exposure to the <b>full lifecycle of Workday implementations and upgrades</b>; familiarity with promoting changes through environments and coordinating with <b>Workday release schedules</b>.</li><li><b>Support and operations</b>: Experience providing <b>Workday support</b>, including monitoring, troubleshooting, incident resolution, and metrics for <b>root cause analysis</b>.</li><li><b>Problem solving</b>: Creative and analytical problem solver, focused on reliability and performance of integrations.</li><li><b>Communication</b>: Clear and effective communication, with concise documentation and the ability to translate technical details for non-technical stakeholders.</li><li><b>Effective analytics</b>: Ability to define and track <b>integration KPIs</b>, ensuring robust monitoring and alerting.</li></ul><h3></h3><h3>Why AstraZeneca?</h3><p>We’re a network of high-reaching self-starters who contribute to something far bigger.
