Tools</b></p><ul><li>Provides advice and guidance to support adoption of methods and tools and adherence to policies and standards. </li><li>Tailors processes in line with agreed standards and evaluation of methods and tools. </li><li>Reviews and improves usage and application of methods and tools.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Porting / Software configuration</b></p><ul><li>Assists in the configuration of software and equipment and the systems testing of platform-specific versions of one or more software products. </li><li>Documents faults, implements resolutions and retests to agreed standards.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Other</b></p><ul><li>Carryout any other reasonable duties as requested.</li></ul><p></p><p><u><b>Skills:</b></u></p><ul><li>Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills</li><li>A flexible attitude with respect to work assignments and new learning</li><li>Ability to work in a global, matrix organisation</li><li>Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload with attention to detail</li><li>Must have the ability to work methodically in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment</li><li>Demonstrable ability to apply critical thinking to problems and tasks</li><li>Ability to identify and implement process improvements</li><li>Proactively participates in skills improvement training and encourages their teams to participate</li><li>Maintains an up-to-date awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies as applicable to Perceptive.</li><li>A self-starter and able to work under own initiative</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Knowledge and Experience: </b></p><ul><li>Demonstrable experience in systems support and operations, including LAN administration, PC and User support</li><li>Basic knowledge and experience in Hardware (Intel-based equipment) and/or Software (PC based operating systems and applications)</li><li>Basic knowledge and experience of standard IP-based networking topologies, networking hardware and exposure to network standards and network protocols</li><li>Experience using tools to communicate progress to Stakeholders</li><li>Experience of working in and knowledge of the life sciences sector</li><li>Solid Professional experience in the same or very similar role</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Education:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor&#39;s Degree in a technical discipline (Maths, Science, Engineering, Computing, etc.) or a related study, or equivalent project-related experience</li><li>English: Fluent</li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b><span>Come as you are.</span></b><br /><span>We&#39;re proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
