We are looking for a candidate who will play a key part in shaping our Azure platform, influencing technical direction, and delivering stable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure that the business depends on.</p><p>This is a hands-on role with real impact, where operations, engineering, and architecture meet.<br /> </p><p><b>What you will be doing</b><br />You will be responsible for running and evolving our Azure environment, working closely with colleagues across IT, security, and line of business. Your key responsibilities include:</p><ul><li>Contributing to the design and evolution of our Azure roadmap and future architecture</li><li>Supporting and influencing cloud modernization initiatives and platform improvements</li><li>Deploy, configure, and maintain high-performing Azure resources across compute, storage, and networking</li><li>Ensure the stability, performance, and security of our cloud infrastructure to support the engineering teams that depend on us</li><li>Drive cloud cost management through proactive monitoring, rightsizing, and strategic optimization initiatives</li><li>Manage cloud identities, roles, and access policies to maintain a secure and robust governance framework</li><li>Analyse system health and logs to lead troubleshooting, capacity planning, and the delivery of high-quality compliance documentation</li><li>Preparing usage, security, and compliance documentation and reports for audits and management<br /> </li></ul><p><b>What’s in it for you?</b></p><ul><li>Real influence on how our Azure platform evolves</li><li>A role that combines operations, engineering, and architecture</li><li>Interesting cloud and hybrid modernization initiatives</li><li>Focus on doing things right, securely, and efficiently rather than firefighting</li><li>A collaborative team culture that values openness, ownership, and continuous improvement<br /> </li></ul><p><b>What we are looking for</b><br />You don’t need to tick every box, but you should bring a solid Azure foundation and the motivation to grow.<br /> </p><p><b>Your key competencies</b></p><ul><li>Tech visionary, with a strong sense of ownership</li><li>Solid experience with Microsoft Azure</li><li>Quality- and control-minded (GxP experience is a plus)</li><li>Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills</li><li>Solid documentation habits</li><li>Good understanding of ITSM and structured processes</li><li>Broad IT infrastructure knowledge (cross-ITI)</li><li>Experienced in incident handling and escalation procedures</li><li>Proficient with PowerShell or other scripting languages</li></ul><p><br /><b>Who you are – your personal strengths</b><br />You bring the right mindset: responsible, curious, and solution oriented.
