We are looking for a System Engineering intern. Would you like to accept a challenge and join a team of engineers in a well-established international company? Would you be willing to take over the responsibility for testing the functionality of electron microscopes?

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Testing development prototypes of cryogenic electron microscopes and their components, including hands-on work with advanced prototype systems and supporting the validation of electron microscope modules.
• Automation of experiments using scripting (e.g., Python) and applying structured, algorithmic thinking to problem-solving.
• Preparation of experimental setups, evaluation, and presentation of measured data, including data processing.
• Collaboration on development projects within an international high-tech environment

REQUIREMENTS:

• Student of Physics, Physical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other engineering/technical fields.
• General technical overview
• Proactive and creative approach to problem-solving, attention to detail and responsibility
• Active knowledge of English (min. B2)
• General knowledge of scripting/programming (Python)
• Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week for one year
