Internal Auditor

We are seeking a proactive Internal Auditor to join our Internal Audit team. In this role, you will support the organization in strengthening governance, risk management, and internal control frameworks. You will conduct operational and process audits across business functions, identify improvement opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations that enhance efficiency, compliance, and risk mitigation.</p><p>This role offers strong exposure to <b>cross-functional operational processes</b>, global stakeholders, and the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.</p><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Execute and document <b>internal audits across various business functions</b> in accordance with the annual audit plan.</li><li>Evaluate the <b>effectiveness of internal control systems, risk management frameworks, and governance processes</b>.</li><li>Conduct <b>operational audits and process reviews</b> to identify control gaps, inefficiencies, and potential risks.</li><li>Develop <b>practical recommendations</b> to improve operational efficiency, compliance, and the overall control environment.</li><li>Track and follow up on <b>implementation of audit recommendations</b> and assess the effectiveness of corrective actions.</li><li>Prepare <b>clear and structured audit reports</b> and present key findings and insights to management.</li><li>Support the <b>enhancement of internal audit methodologies, standards, and tools</b>.</li><li>Assist with <b>special audits, investigations, and ad-hoc reviews</b> as required.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications &amp; Experience</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in <b>Business Administration, Economics, Business Informatics, Accounting, or a related field</b>.</li><li><b>Minimum 3&#43; years of experience</b> in <b>internal audit, IT audit, external audit, or risk management</b> roles.</li><li>Experience conducting <b>operational audits and evaluating internal controls</b> across business processes.</li><li>Industry exposure in <b>biopharma, life sciences, or regulated industries</b> is preferred.</li><li><b>Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)</b> or similar certification is <b>preferred but not mandatory</b>.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Skills &amp; Competencies</b></p><ul><li>Strong understanding of <b>business processes, internal control systems, and risk management frameworks</b>.</li><li>Experience working with <b>SAP systems</b>, including information retrieval and reporting.</li><li>Familiarity with <b>data analysis tools and techniques</b>.</li><li>Strong <b>analytical thinking, independence, and problem-solving capability</b>.</li><li>Ability to <b>communicate complex audit findings clearly</b> to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li><li>Proficiency in <b>MS Office tools</b>.</li><li><b>Excellent written and verbal English communication skills</b>.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Additional Requirements</b></p><ul><li>Willingness to <b>travel up to 30%</b>, primarily within the <b>APAC region,</b> but not limited to.</li><li>Ability to work across <b>global teams and multiple operational functions</b>.</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b>About Sartorius </b></p><p></p><p>Sartorius is part of the solution in the fight against cancer, dementia, and many other diseases.
