Look no further.</span></p><p></p><p></p><div><div><p><b><span>JOB PURPOSE</span></b><span> </span><br />The Quality Engineering Intern will have the opportunity to build upon his/ her academic background through real world experience. Under the direction of quality engineers, he/she will assist with quality engineering projects, product inspection, and other engineering tasks.</p><p></p><p><b>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES</b><br />The following are the essential functions of this position. This position may be responsible for performing additional duties and tasks as needed and assigned.</p><p><br />• Develops required quality records related to HighQA<br />• Collaborates in RIR Conversion processes.<br />• Completes three product families’ RIR in three to six months.<br />• Statistically analyzes inspection data.<br />• Revises and/or generates engineering documentation.<br />• Executes device testing/analysis.<br />• Research and report on selected topics.<br />• Other duties as assigned.</p><p></p><p><b>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</b><br />The requirements listed below are representative of the education, knowledge, skill and/or ability required for this position.</p><p></p><p>Education/Certifications:<br />• HS Diploma or equivalent required<br />• Enrollment in bachelor’s or a master’s degree program<br />• Junior or Senior level standing, or graduate student<br />• 3.0 GPA</p><p></p><p>Experience, Skills, Knowledge and/or Abilities:<br />• MS Office experience<br />• Dimension and tolerancing knowledge.<br />• Drawing interpretation knowledge.</p><p></p><p><b>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</b><br />The education, knowledge, skills and/or abilities listed below are preferred qualifications in addition to the minimum qualifications stated above.</p><p></p><p>Education/Certifications:<br />• No additional requirements</p><p></p><p>Additional Experience, Skills, Knowledge and/or Abilities:<br />• Prior experience working in a manufacturing company.<br />• Experience with Quality Assurance.</p><p></p><p>The anticipated base hourly rate for an employee who is located in California this position is $22 - $26 per hour.
