This team is focused on providing <b>scientific expertise, global guidance, and risk‑based strategies</b> for extractables and leachables related to <b>primary packaging materials, process contact materials, and devices</b> used in veterinary drug products.</p><p>The team consists of experienced subject‑matter experts who work closely with manufacturing sites, quality, regulatory affairs, packaging technology, and development functions to ensure <b>consistent, science‑based and inspection‑defensible E&L approaches</b> across the product lifecycle.</p><p></p><p><b>Your internship assignment</b></p><p>As an intern, you will be responsible for delivering a <b>scientific, evidence‑based memo</b> on the <b>selection of model solvents and testing conditions in extractables studies</b> for <b>primary packaging materials and process contact materials used in veterinary drug products</b>.</p><p>The outcome of the internship is a structured internal reference document that supports <b>consistent extractables study design, scientific justification, and knowledge sharing</b> within the E&L Center of Excellence.</p><p><b>Your responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Perform a <b>literature and guidance review</b> related to extractables testing, model solvent selection, and extraction conditions</li><li>Build a <b>scientific rationale framework</b> linking solvent and condition selection to material chemistry, dosage form, and intended use</li><li>Analyze typical <b>veterinary product scenarios</b> and their impact on extractables study design</li><li>Draft a <b>clear, structured memo</b> suitable for internal scientific reference</li><li>Providing a fresh perspective to the E&L CoE Team by sharing your opinion</li></ul><p>The tasks described form the basic package and will often be performed independently after a proper training and learning period. These tasks may be supplemented with other projects and/or tasks on your own initiative or at the request of the organization.</p><p></p><p><b>What is required</b></p><ul><li><p>Master’s student (or final‑year Bachelor’s) in <b>Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field</b></p></li><li><p>Interest in <b>research, scientific writing, pharmaceutical quality, packaging materials, or regulatory science</b></p></li><li><p>Ability to work <b>independently and in a structured manner</b></p></li><li><p>Excellent <b>English</b> communication skills, both written and verbal</p></li><li><p>Available for a period of <b>several months</b> for <b>4–5 days per week</b></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What we offer</b><br />Interning at our company means working together with your team towards health in an international work environment.
