The crucial information derived from our tests, instruments, and informatics systems is often the first step in patient care decision-making for hundreds of health conditions from heart attacks to blood disorders to infectious diseases and cancers. </p><p></p><p><b>What You’ll Work On</b></p><div><ul><li><p>Work closely with cross‑functional teams—including R&amp;D, manufacturing, PCB, regulatory, quality, and marketing—to support prototyping, testing, validation, and production efforts.</p></li><li><p>Translate regulatory and business requirements into practical engineering and validation plans.</p></li><li><p>Analyze technical data and processes while considering cost, schedule, and overall business impact.</p></li><li><p>Identify and manage technical and regulatory risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate project resources such as time, materials, budget, and personnel.</p></li><li><p>Review and approve drawings, specifications, and technical documentation, and evaluate vendor capabilities as needed.</p></li><li><p>Design, test, and improve instruments and systems by analyzing requirements, developing effective design solutions, and creating clear technical specifications.</p></li><li><p>Collect and evaluate test data to define performance limits, tolerances, and validation requirements.</p></li><li><p>Communicate effectively across teams by delivering clear presentations, actively listening, and providing constructive feedback.</p></li><li><p>Participate in design reviews, contribute to team decisions, and help resolve issues constructively.</p></li><li><p>Support team development by sharing knowledge, mentoring others, providing performance feedback, and helping identify future skill needs.</p></li><li><p>Make timely decisions, maintain accountability, and adapt technical approaches to meet customer and market needs.</p></li></ul></div><p></p><p><b>Required Qualifications</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor&#39;s Degree in similar field.</p></li><li><p>Minimum 2 years two or more of related work experience or sufficient transferable experience to demonstrate functional equivalence to a degree.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></p><ul><li><p>Experience in a similar role preferably in Abbott or a similar organization.</p></li><li><p>4 or more years of work experience.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><a href="https://www.jobs.abbott/us/en" target="_blank"><b>Apply Now</b></a></p><p><b>Learn more about our health and wellness benefits, which provide the security to help you and your family live full lives:</b> <a href="http://www.abbottbenefits.com/pages/candidate.aspx" target="_blank">https://abbottbenefits.com/</a></p><p>Follow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
