The Opportunity
As Quality Inspector II youpPerforms inspection and testing of purchased materials, components and products in accordance with policy and procedures.
Quality and production support resource to ensure compliance with policies and procedures within an atmosphere of error
prevention and continual improvement.This position works out of our Arecibo location in the CRN Division and support second shift (2pm-10:30pm).
What You'll Do
Responsible for compliance with applicable regulations and requirements, as well as Corporate and Divisional policies and
procedures.
Performs visual, dimensional and functional inspection and testing according to documented policies and procedures.
Review material, equipment, and systems quality through examination, inspection, measurement, or testing of raw materials,
components, sub assembly, final assembly, packaging, labeling and documentation.
Reviews and verifies compliance of documentation such as batch records, reports of nonconforming materials, inspection
records.
Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and
vendors.
Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned.
Notifies supervision of issues or errors, providing immediate response.
Provides ideas for improvement in areas such as quality, productivity, and safety.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma /GED
Minimum of 2 active certifications in Quality roles.
Good communication and computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Basic English (read level) and Math Knowledge.
Experience in related field at medical devices companies or equivalent, where compliance
to GMP and regulations (such as FDA/ISO 13485) is required.
Experience with optical measurement equipment, hand tools, gages, pressure and force
gage testing.
Training in blueprint reading and experience with inspection sampling techniques.
Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Ability to apply acquired knowledge of procedures and practices in a regulated
environment, understanding how their work impacts the quality and compliance of the
products manufactured. Will perform this job in a quality system environment.
Failure to
adequately perform tasks can result in noncompliance with governmental regulations.
Preferred: ASQ certifications preferred

The base pay for this position is
$12.80 – $22.40/hourIn specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
