Responsible for assisting more experienced electricians with the installation, repairs and maintenance of electrical components, wiring and electrical equipment in all machinery and facilities. Utilizes tools and testing equipment to complete electrical work. A significant portion of this role is to learn the trade from more experienced coworkers.

Pay Range: $28.39-$40.56 per hour

What You'll Do

As an Industrial Electrician, you'll help install, repair, and maintain the electrical systems and equipment that keep our operation running. Working alongside experienced electricians, you'll gain valuable hands-on experience while learning the trade and contributing to a team that values safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting more experienced electricians with the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical components, wiring, and electrical equipment in all machinery and facilities.

• Utilizing tools and testing equipment to complete electrical work.

• Troubleshooting problems, identifying root causes, and proposing and implementing solutions to support production operations.

• Troubleshooting and re-wiring high-speed and/or highly automated equipment such as AC/DC motors, VFDs, PLCs, servo motors, and PLC I/O modules.

• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics.

• Following safety policies and procedures, including lock-out/tag-out and electrical safety.

• Learning the trade from more experienced coworkers as you build your skills.

What We're Looking For

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment with people of varying skills and backgrounds.

• Highly motivated, self-directed individual.

• Knowledge of safety policies and procedures (e.g., lock-out/tag-out, electrical safety).

• Ability to troubleshoot problems, identify root causes, and propose and implement solutions to support production operations.

• Ability to troubleshoot and re-wire high-speed and/or highly automated equipment such as AC/DC motors, VFDs, PLCs, servo motors, and PLC I/O modules preferred.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.

• Ability to work off shifts (evenings and overnights) and overtime as necessary. Must be able to work in varying temperatures and climates.

• Knowledge of grounded delta electrical environment preferred.
