You will ensure, they meet quality standards and specifications. Conducting visual inspections of products to identify defects<br />Using various tools and equipment to measure and test product quality<br />Documenting inspection results and communicating them to appropriate personnel<br />Approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products Active Defects<br />Defects per day Skill - Be detail oriented and able to identify and report on any non-conformances or defects<br />Skill - Be able to operate inspection equipment<br />Skill - Be able to read and interpret technical specifications and blueprints<br />Competency - Be willing to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes Written Communications - Is able to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles; can get messages across that have the desired effect.<br />Priority Setting - Spends his/her time and the time of others on what’s important; quickly zeros in on the critical few and puts the trivial many aside; can quickly sense what will help or hinder accomplishing a goal; eliminates roadblocks; creates focus.</p><p></p><p></p><p>Novanta is proud to be an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action workplace.
