<p><strong>Shape the future of CNS dru</strong><strong>g development at Lundbeck&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Haeger &amp; Carlsson, on behalf of Lundbeck, are recruiting an In Vitro Drug Interaction Scientist.</p><p> <br>As Principal Scientist – in vitro Drug-Drug Interaction (DDI), you will play a key role in the evaluation and prediction of DDI risks for Lundbeck’s development compounds, ensuring safe and effective therapies reach patients. Moreover, as a Departmental representative in the project teams, you will be part of defining the strategy for the projects and will be involved in interactions with health authorities. </p><p>To support the projects, you will be designing, conducting, interpreting in vitro DDI studies, and develop PBPK models for DDI risk assessment.&nbsp;You will present the outcome to the project teams and guide decision-making in both preclinical and clinical development. Furthermore, for the development projects that you are responsible for, you will be developing the PBPK strategy throughout the development together with the cross functional PBPK team.</p><p></p><p><strong>Qualification Requirements</strong></p><ul>
<li>PhD in biochemistry, pharmacy, chemical engineering, or similar experience. </li>
</ul><ul>
<li>Solid experience with major drug-metabolizing enzymes and drug transporters, including enzyme kinetics. </li>
</ul><ul>
<li>Hands-on experience with in vitro DDI assays.</li>
</ul><ul>
<li>Proven track record in the design, execution, and interpretation of in vitro DDI studies. </li>
</ul><ul>
<li>Knowledge of global regulatory guidelines (FDA, EMA, ICH) related to DDI assessment. </li>
</ul><ul>
<li>Industry experience in DDI and pharmacokinetics. </li>
</ul><ul>
<li>Strong communication skills and fluency in English. </li>
</ul><p></p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong> <strong>and Attributes</strong></p><ul>
<li>Experience with PBPK modelling and simulation tools (e.g., Simcyp, GastroPlus). </li>
</ul><ul>
<li>Demonstrated ability to prepare regulatory documentation for submissions. </li>
</ul><ul>
<li>Scientific publications in the DDI or ADME field. </li>
