Description
The Hospital Contract Manager at Checkpoint Surgical is a strategic partner responsible for overseeing, establishing, renewing, and negotiating critical hospital and vendor contracts. This role ensures full lifecycle contract management from initiation through renewal, aligning with compliance, risk mitigation, KPI performance, and enterprise goals. You’ll work cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, Sales, Customer Service, Compliance, and Executive teams to craft smart, agile agreements that power our mission. Requirements
3+ years of progressive experience in healthcare, medical device, IT, or biotech contract management. Working knowledge of hospital purchasing, healthcare compliance (HIPAA, Anti-Kickback, Stark, ACA, etc.), strong negotiation skills, and a knack for contract language. Proficient in using CLM platforms, e-signature tools, and contract analytics. Organized, precise, and committed to getting it right under pressure. Proven ability to build trust and partner with Legal, Procurement, and C-level stakeholders. Understands how contracts affect bottom-line performance and can translate legal language into strategic decisions. Thrives in fast-paced, startup-like environments and adapts quickly to change.
