Histology Research Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the histology team at Presage Biosciences, an innovative Seattle biotech start-up focused on improving cancer drug efficacy. Reporting to the histology manager you will perform routine histology tasks including specimen processing, embedding, microtomy, staining, and immunohistochemistry. This full-time role supports the development of a cutting-edge target validation and drug evaluation platform. Key Responsibilities include ability to multi-task and work in a fast-pace, high-volume, deadline-driven environment, produce high-quality tissue sections using a manual/rotary microtome, perform immunohistochemistry and H&E staining protocols, keep proper documentation, updating lab information systems, preparation of buffers and other reagents, maintain equipment, troubleshooting when necessary, and maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
