You will shape business strategy through sound legal judgment, thoughtful risk-taking, and deep understanding of both the local healthcare ecosystem and Sanofi’s global priorities.</p><p>This role requires close collaboration with Ethics &amp; Business Integrity (E&amp;BI) and regional Legal, Ethics &amp; Business Integrity (LEBI) teams, while actively driving the <b>LEBI Mindset Shifts Transformation Journey</b> in Vietnam.</p><p></p><p><b>Main Responsibilities</b></p><p><b>Strategic Legal Leadership</b></p><ul><li>Serve as the principal legal advisor to the Vietnam Leadership Team, Pharma and Vaccines GBUs.</li><li>Anticipate legal, regulatory, and compliance risks, providing proactive, pragmatic, and business-oriented solutions.</li><li>Contribute to country strategy, major transactions, partnerships, and critical projects from a legal and risk perspective.</li><li>Balance legal rigor with commercial judgment to enable sustainable business growth.</li></ul><p><b>Risk Management &amp; Decision Support</b></p><ul><li>Evaluate complex, high-impact matters involving legal, regulatory, and ethical considerations.</li><li>Navigate conflicting interests and ambiguous situations with clarity and confidence.</li><li>Address matters cutting across legal, compliance, litigation, and governance with speed and sound judgment.</li></ul><p><b>Stakeholder &amp; Ecosystem Engagement</b></p><ul><li>Build trusted relationships with senior leaders, internal functions, and external stakeholders.</li><li>Stay closely connected to regulatory trends through engagement with industry associations and relevant authorities.</li><li>Act as a strong bridge between global policies and local business realities.</li></ul><p><b>Team &amp; Capability Development</b></p><ul><li>Lead, coach, and develop a local legal team (1–2 professionals), fostering accountability, inclusion, and agility.</li><li>Act as a “Reference Board” for country lawyers on complex assessments, litigation, and sensitive matters.</li><li>Collaborate closely with regional and global LEBI teams to maximize collective impact.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>About You</b></p><p><b>Experience &amp; Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Law degree with <b>10&#43; years of legal experience</b>; in-house pharma experience and/or law firm background in healthcare/life sciences strongly preferred.</li><li>Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and healthcare compliance frameworks.</li><li>Proven experience advising senior leadership on complex business and legal issues.</li><li>Excellent working proficiency in English.</li></ul><p><b>Leadership &amp; Professional Capabilities</b></p><ul><li>Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and deep technical legal expertise.</li><li>Ability to anticipate change, adapt quickly, and lead through ambiguity.</li><li>Confident decision-maker with the courage to challenge constructively and take ownership.</li><li>Strong people leadership skills, balancing hands-on involvement with empowerment.</li><li>Collaborative, empathetic, and inclusive leadership style.</li><li>Operates with integrity, transparency, and the highest ethical standards.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Why Choose us?</b></p><p>Better is out there.
