This role requires strong cross‑functional partnership, outstanding business acumen, and deep multicultural expertise.</p><p>As a member of the Marketing Company Senior Management Team (SMT), the HR Head shares accountability for fostering a culture grounded in AstraZeneca’s values: <b>following the science, putting patients first, doing the right thing, playing to win, and being entrepreneurial.</b></p><p>The <b>HR Head</b> directly leads all HR process teams across the <b>Marketing Company and Global Services</b>, working closely with global, regional, and above‑market partners to ensure full alignment with AstraZeneca’s long‑term HR vision and 2030 ambition.</p><h2></h2><h2>Key Accountabilities &amp; Responsibilities:</h2><ul><li><p>Leads strategic HR planning across the geography, shaping and executing a forward‑looking People &amp; Culture agenda that supports business objectives and integrates mid‑ to long‑term business and HR priorities.</p></li><li><p>Ensure people management initiatives are in place to attract, develop and retain the right talent</p></li><li><p>Partner with the country president to support the continued development of a high performing senior leadership team</p></li><li><p>Partners with executive leadership to deeply understand business priorities and translate them into impactful local People &amp; Culture strategies that enable growth, agility, and organizational effectiveness.</p></li><li><p><span>Transformation, Change &amp; Culture Enablement. </span>Drives new ways of working, embedding a culture of empowerment, accountability, compliance across the organization.</p></li><li><p>Influence the business planning process to ensure adequate delivery of results with estimated resources through high quality recruitment, development and retention initiatives</p></li><li><p>Contribute to the development of AZ wide HR policy and process and provides input into strategic HR direction and owner of local HR policies and guidelines</p></li><li><p>Provides expert HR leadership in specialist areas, including talent management, succession planning, workforce planning and reward, ensuring adoption of global standards while addressing local business needs.</p></li><li><p>Builds and strengthens HR capability by mentoring, coaching, and developing HR talent to create a high‑performing, future‑ready People &amp; Culture team</p></li><li><p>Owns financial stewardship of HR budgets within scope, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and value‑driven delivery of HR services.</p></li><li><p>Drive initiatives and procedures in: Recruitment, Employer Branding, L&amp;D, Compensation and Benefits with the objective of attracting, developing, retaining and engaging the right talent in collaboration with Centers of Excellence</p></li><li><p>Lead the HR function and participate in the day-to-day management of the HR department</p></li><li><p>Drive and lead the SHE (Safety, Health and Environment) Agenda</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with the Global HR organization to ensure that local initiatives are aligned and supported with regional and global initiatives</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Your profile:</span></b></p><p>This interesting position requires a business degree with focus on Human Resources management and/or Business Administration. MBA or equivalent, strongly desirable. Proven track record, minimum 5-year experience in a Senior HR Strategic Leadership Role with the following skills:</p><ul><li><p>Demonstrated success leading high‑performing teams.</p></li><li><p>Proven experience supporting end‑to‑end HR processes in multi‑country environments</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, engage, and develop high‑performing teams.</p></li><li><p>Strong digital competencies (Teams, Copilot, ChatGPT, PowerPoint, Power BI).</p></li><li><p>Team player with excellent communication skills</p></li><li><p>Demonstrate a robust and sound understanding and knowledge of all key HR practices</p></li><li><p>Capability in developing and implementing the HR strategy</p></li><li><p>Project and change management skills</p></li><li><p>Delivery focused approach</p></li><li><p>Central America HR working experience desired</p></li><li><p>Languages: Fluent in Spanish and in English.
