The Head of Customer Engagement & Marketing is a pivotal executive role within the Roche Turkey Leadership Team, entrusted with holistically architecting, leading, and executing the commercial vision and go-to-market strategies for the company's entire pharmaceutical portfolio.
This role functions as the "Chief Commercial Conductor," orchestrating and unifying both the strategic business units (Disease Area Teams) and the central marketing capabilities that serve them (Marketing Leads / Marketing Chapter) under a single, cohesive vision.
This leader directly manages and develops two distinct leadership groups: the Disease Area (DA) Leads and the Marketing Leads. Through the DA Leads, they hold ultimate accountability for the therapeutic area strategies and full P&L outcomes. Concurrently, through the Marketing Leads, they are responsible for embedding marketing excellence, fostering state-of-the-art capabilities, and ensuring the agile, strategic allocation of marketing resources across the entire Organization.
The fundamental purpose of this role is to build a seamless bridge between high-level strategy and flawless execution. By leveraging a deep strategic partnership with the Medical, Access, Regulatory & Government affairs, as well as the Business Excellence Division, this leader will ensure Roche achieves its ambitious market leadership and patient impact goals.

Required Qualifications and Competencies
● Experience: A minimum of 15+ years of extensive commercial leadership experience within the pharmaceutical industry, with a proven track record of increasing responsibility across both sales and marketing functions. Must have demonstrable success leading both strategic business units (e.g., Business Unit Director with full P&L ownership) and functional expert teams (e.g., Head of Marketing). Experience in both specialty care and broader market environments is highly desirable.

inputs into clear, actionable commercial strategies while understanding the broader healthcare ecosystem.
Dual Leadership Acumen: Exceptional skill in leading and inspiring two different
types of teams: P&L-owning commercial leaders and deep functional experts within a matrix structure.
Execution Powerhouse: A strong bias for action and a relentless focus on
translating strategy into measurable results.
Talent Cultivator: A passion for identifying, developing, and mentoring future
leaders.
Data-Driven Mindset: Fluency in leveraging analytics and insights to drive
decisions, challenge assumptions, and optimize performance.
Executive Presence & Influence: Superior communication, negotiation, and
stakeholder management skills to effectively influence across all levels of the
organization and with external partners.
Education & Language: Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or business field; an MBA or advanced degree is strongly preferred. Full professional fluency in both Turkish and English is mandatory.
Compliance:
Acting in full compliance with Competition Law, the Roche Code of Conduct, and all applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while performing all duties is essential. In this context, it is important to refrain from prohibited practices, including but not limited to intervening in retailers’ resale pricing practices, offering or requesting side arrangements, and directly or indirectly exchanging strategically sensitive commercial information with competing undertakings.
Taking the necessary measures to ensure compliance with legal requirements, pharmaceutical regulations, the Personal Data Protection Law, industry code requirements regarding promotion and ethics, and other applicable laws and regulations (e.g., public procurement law, interactions with government officials, etc.).
In accordance with the Ministry of Health product safety regulations and guidelines and Roche Standard Operating Procedures, promptly reporting any information received regarding adverse effects of medicines to the product safety specialist within 1 business day.
Following environmental, occupational health and safety matters, acting in accordance with the relevant policies, and participating in related trainings when required.
