As the Head of Commercial Excellence and CX at Roche Bangladesh, you will serve as a vital member of the Bangladesh Leadership Team, driving strategic business partnerships with a strong focus on co-marketing, distribution, and localization initiatives. Reporting to the General Manager / Country Leadership, you will shape and execute a cutting-edge omnichannel and digital health strategy across a matrix organization, leading cross-functional teams and managing digital platforms to maximize portfolio performance and elevate customer experience.

What you will be working on:

As the Head of Commercial Excellence and CX Strategy, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the development and execution of strategic commercial plans to expand market presence and impact.
• Designing and executing key partnering projects, including distribution, co-marketing, and localization initiatives.
• Developing and driving partnership initiatives to enhance market presence and achieve long-term strategic outcomes.
• Conducting in-depth market analysis to identify industry trends, competitive landscapes, and unmet customer needs.
• Partnering with the Leadership Team to co-develop and co-own ambitious commercial goals.
• Developing and implementing an overarching omnichannel and digital health strategy tailored to customer and patient journeys.
• Supporting, empowering, and mentoring the digital team to build high-performing digital platforms using agile methodologies.
• Driving in-field execution strategies while aligning enterprise-wide resources to maximize portfolio potential.
• Partnering with healthcare ecosystem stakeholders, government bodies (e.g., MoHFW, DGHS), and key accounts to advance shared outcomes.
• Embedding key customer voices into solution design through reliable co-creation and strategic partnerships.
• Fostering a high-performing, cross-functional matrix environment where diverse perspectives drive innovation.
• Inspiring teams to embrace a growth mindset, smart risk-taking, and continuous improvement.
• Translate Disease Area business priorities and customer insights into differentiated and Personalized Omnichannel Engagement strategies, integrating face-to-face and digital touchpoints into a seamless customer experience.
• Establish and monitor a focused CX and omnichannel performance framework connecting execution quality with Engagement Effectiveness & Business Impact.

Who you are:

You are a visionary enterprise leader with a passion for digital innovation and commercial excellence. You thrive in matrix environments, effortlessly combining strategic business acumen with an empowering leadership style that elevates team performance and fosters strong ecosystem partnerships.

• Leadership & Influence: Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional matrix teams, inspiring high performance, and driving collective accountability.
• Digital Acumen: Deep proficiency in digital tools, omnichannel strategies, and agile methodologies within healthcare or related sectors.
• Business Experience: At least 5 years of experience managing complex commercial projects, multi-stakeholder environments, and business development strategies.
• Education: A University degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Biological Sciences, Public Health, or Business (an MBA or advanced Life Sciences degree is a plus).
• Market Insight: Strong knowledge of the Bangladesh pharmaceutical landscape, commercial dynamics, and healthcare ecosystems.
• Relational Intelligence: Outstanding networking, active listening, and collaboration skills to manage key internal and external stakeholders seamlessly.
• Strategic Mindset: High adaptability, ethical anchor, and decisive decision-making skills with a clear focus on value creation.
